NYC shocker: Man hit with chair and robbed while dining outside pizzeria in random attack
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A frightening attack was caught on camera where a man hurled a chair at another individual who was dining outside a Hell’s Kitchen pizzeria. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s phone which fell to the ground during the unexpected attack. The footage shared by NYPD showed that the attacker took advantage of the opportunity as he ran off with it.
According to the New York Post, the 66-year-old was randomly bashed with a chair when he was seated at a table outside the restaurant on West 58th St around 10.30 pm. The terrifying incident took place on Friday, September 9. The publication shared that the victim was left broken forearm bone after the suspect approached him at a table outside Amore Pizza Café. The suspect chucked the chair at his head before fleeing from the scene with his phone.

According to the New York Post, the victim, who has been identified as a New Yorker, was taken to Mount Sinai West for treatment of his arm injury. Speaking of the suspect, cops shared that the footage described him as a man with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and black and white checkered sneakers.
According to the website BenWix, the victim’s name is Vincent Buccino. Speaking of the incident, Buccino informed The Put up from the Manhattan rehab heart the place he is recovering. He said, “It’s going to vary my life. I simply have a concern now, going out in the evening. I am by no means going to be on my telephone once more. It was like an actual animal factor occurred, actually horrible.”
He further shared, “He simply seems out of nowhere. I simply look up and I see somebody choose up a chair, and he simply flung it. It was like the way in which he flung it, like a baseball. He was aiming for my head.” He also added that he was fortunate that the chair missed his head. “If he would have hit my face, I might not survive that,” said the old man adding, “I couldn’t have survived that with the injury to my arm.” Buccino concluded that he will have to think twice before taking a stroll in the vicinity. “That’s my neighborhood so I’m not going to stroll round the way in which I used to. That’s all going to vary”, said the oldie.
