June Edith 'Mama June' Shannon will debut a sparkly smile in 'Mama June: Road to Redemption' thanks to a new set of veneers. The reality TV star broke a portion of her front tooth while eating fat cakes. She let it be that way for almost a year and in April 2020 decided to get it fixed. "I am happy to finally have gotten my tooth fixed. Now I have to watch the fat cakes so it doesn't break again," she told The Sun.
Cosmetic dentist Dr Matthew Yantorni from Lake Nona Dental Group confirmed to the outlet that June came to his office complaining of having lost a porcelain veneer off of her tooth. Because it had been missing for a considerable amount of time, tissue overgrew and was not aligned to the next tooth.

"June, like many people, is not a big fan of the dentist, but was an extremely great patient throughout the entire process, including the dreaded anesthetic shot," the outlet quoted Dr Matthew as saying. But that was not the end of her dental transformation.
Roughly 20 weeks ago, June visited the Beverly Hills Dental Lab Inc and consulted Dr Rashad Riman and Dr Leedia Riman. Later, she took to Instagram to thank the team with a note that read: "Oh k I’ve been waiting for a minute to share with y’all my new smile that @doakgeno and I got from @drleedia @beverlyhillsdentallab @sam_alawie @rdentalgroup @dr.rashadrima they were all awesome." It continued: "Also @drmichaelkobeng did lipo on my chin and neck. @drsamkashani did the gastric balloon on @doakgeno and @drmichaelkobeng removed the lump on his neck and head. Big thank you to all of them!! and a big thank you to my favorite LA camera guy @starbuck67."
The first-look footage showed a thrilled and toothy June grinning ear-to-ear without a worry in the world. But that's not where the makeover ends. While quarantining with boyfriend Geno Doak she put on weight, which she has been trying to shed. However, an extra-sweet milkshake may not be the best place to start.
