'MAFS' Season 14: Fans support Katina's friend Jelani for calling out Olajuwon
When it comes to 'Married At First Sight' making a good impression on your spouse's family is definitely important. And while the couples don't spend too much time with friends and family on screen, it is certainly a significant component. Post the wedding, each of the couples meets with their spouse's family, in order to get to know them a little better and create a stronger connection. But this doesn't always go according to plan, as the participants and their families have to now deal with the fact that this is a real marriage.
Last season, Ryan really dropped the ball with Brett's family, seeing that he didn't have anything to say other than talk about Brett's hair. Looks like this season, Olajuwon was caught in a tough spot as well, as Katina's family didn't let him off the hook.

Among the members of Katina's family that Olajuwon met the following day for brunch was Jelani, a close friend of Katina. Jelani wasted no time in asking Olajuwon tough questions, about why he decided to get into the process and about his attitude toward marriage. Olajuwon was caught off guard by it and failed to give him any real answers. Fans were glad that someone was finally calling him out on his attitude, as many believe that he is still immature when it comes to serious commitment. Jelani later mentioned that he believes Olajuwon was on the show not to get married but just for fame instead.

It didn't help that Katina later mentioned that Jelani was very important to her and was someone that she went to often when she needed advice. It looks like Olajuwon really needs to step his game up with his in-laws.
