'MAFS' Season 14: Fans slam Olajuwon for wanting a 'mama' and 'maid'

Olajuwon continues to pile on the pressure when it comes to his relationship with Katina

There is always friction in a relationship. No matter how you look at it, fights are regular, it's how you move past them that defines the relationship. For the couples of 'Married At First Sight', adjusting to living with a stranger is certainly the cause of some of these arguments.

Olajuwon and Katina seem to be clashing endlessly, although they are not as explosive as some of the other couples. Olajuwon came into this marriage with a skewed perception of what his wife should be, and it looks like he hasn't stopped projecting that on Katina.

There was definitely tension in the air when Katina and Olajuwon were discussing the previous night's events, which caused them to fight. Olajuwon even told Katina that she 'troubled' him, over her lack of skills that he thinks she needs to have. He brought up the fact that Katina didn't help him clean the house after their housewarming party. No matter what Katina did, there was no winning, and fans were fed-up on her behalf.

"Olujuisaac would hate my ass. I cook like 3 times a month and my man comes over to help me clean and I hire someone in between. #MAFS" tweeted a fan. "As expected Olajuwon wants a woman who will cook clean and have his babies and that’s it. Figures. "Watching this show makes me feel like I need to make it very clear to a man that if we get married, I don't magically turn into your maid & mama after "I do" #MAFS" said a fan. "Olajuwon wants a chef and maid, not a wife. He wants a trophy for doing what he thinks he should do. Good grief. #MAFS" said another.

When they later spoke about being loved and vulnerable, Katina expressed that a past abusive relationship is the reason why she doesn't openly cry. Olajuwon's approach to this wasn't the best, and he even claimed that Katina had a long way to go before he could fall in love with her. Fans were appalled by his behaviour.

"Olajuwon needs to get to know Katina instead of pushing her in a role to serve him. "He doesn't know enough about his wife to love her but can call her a wife and expects her to do everything he wants as a wife & can't understand that she doesn't know enough about being a wife yet but she needs to love him. I need olajuwon off this season next. #MAFS" added another. "This whole scene just made me sick. Katina please do not stay married to this man #MAFS #marriedatfirstsight" stated a fan.
