'MAFS' Season 14: Dr Pepper confronts Olajuwon for claiming her advice was 'waste'
For the couples of 'Married At First Sight', communication is often the only way to ensure that their marriage will work. Fans have seen it time and again each season -- the moment communication breaks down between a couple, they are headed to splitsville.
In this situation, it helps to have the experts work as sounding boards to both validate the cast's feelings and call them out on their behaviour. But then again, not everyone is willing to take the advice that they are given. And this season, it turns out that Olajuwon is the one who is set in his ways, despite what the experts have to say.

It looks like Olajuwon might be in hot water yet again, and this time around, it is what the panel of experts. In the episode preview, it looks as though each of the couples met individually with the experts, as they usually do during the show's halfway mark. Here, the experts hear what they have to say and provide insight and feedback on their own behaviour, providing them with areas to improve to help their marriage progress.
The last time when Katina and Olajuwon met with Dr Viviana, she called him out on his archaic ideas of what a wife needs to be and encouraged healthier communication between them. Olajuwon was receptive to her advice for the most part back then. But it looks like the second time around, things have drastically changed. After meeting with Dr Pepper, Olajuwon walked away with a few opinions of his own and was all ready to air out his grievances. As he sat down with the rest of the group, he explained that Dr Pepper had some concerns about his marriage. She claimed that he belittled Katina and often spoke to her.
Olajuwon defended his actions by saying that Katina was an introvert and that he was the opposite, and when he spoke, it came across as belittling, even though that was not the case. He saw his conversation with Dr Pepper as pointless and stated that '90% of it was a waste'. He added that he expected the experts to bring something that would help his marriage instead of negative energy. But, while Olajuwon continued his rant, little did he know that Pastor Cal and Dr Pepper both heard what he had to say. Appaled by his words, they confronted him, much to his and the group's surprise. It looks like everyone will be on their toes here on out!
