'MAFS' Season 14: Will Chris leave Alyssa? Pastor Cal tries to fix their marriage

For Chris, staying in the apartments meant that he wanted to work on their relationship, but Alyssa doesn't feel the same way.

For the cast of 'Married At First Sight', the rules of a conventional image certainly do not apply, seeing that they are literally strangers when they get married. The cast has to start from scratch when it comes to getting to know each other, while also adjusting to being being a couple -- it certainly requires effort from both ends, if they want to have a successful marriage.

However, not everyone seems to be willing to put in the work. While some couples seem to be getting along just fine, others are struggling to find their footing. And then there is Chris and Alyssa, who seems to have gotten off to the worst possible start. And regardless of what people around say or do, it looks like this is one marriage that can't be fixed.

With Alyssa refusing to participate with Chris during any of the honeymoon activities, an open conversation with the group led them to confront their staying situation post the honeymoon. While Alyssa suggested that they can stay alternative months in the apartment and that she was here for the experience, Chris was clear in voicing his opinions too. He made it known that even though he loved the cast, he was not here for them, but for his marriage.

Moreover, he had no intention to live like 'divorced parents' and if Alyssa was not even going to put in an ounce of effort, then he was out. Alyssa, who has claimed over and over that Chris has been disrespectful towards her, continued to claim that she is a good person and that he was making her look bad.

Seeing that even the producers weren't able to resolve the issues between them, Pastor Cal had no choice but to step in. While he spoke to the couple, Alyssa finally came clean with the fact that she was not physically attracted to Chris.

As the conversation continued and Pastor Cal tried to help them see eye to eye, Chris finally made it clear that for him, this was decision day and if Alyssa had no intention to be in the marriage and just wanted to spend time with the cast instead, then he was ready to walk away for the marriage.
What do you think? Is this the end of Alyssa and Chris? Will she try to make it work out or is it best that Chris walks away? Sound off in the comments below!
