Madonna clapped back at haters who slammed her graphic NFT videos that feature 3D visuals of her vagina. She defended her art by stating that she is just "doing what women have been doing since the beginning of time". On Wednesday, May 11, the iconic singer, 63, shared a collection of new NFT videos titled 'Mother of Creation'.

The videos featured three-dimensional graphic digital scans of her own vagina and more naked depictions of herself giving birth to trees, butterflies, and robotic centipedes, among other creations.  The clips baffled the social media users, creating confusion and dismay among users. Many Twitter users called it 'cringe', 'creepy', 'scary', and even 'desperate for attention'.

Madonna teamed up with digital artist, graphic designer, and animator Beeple (real name- Michael Joseph Winkelmann) to develop three NFT (non-fungible token) videos that leave very little room for imagination. The singer frequently shares raunchy images of herself on social media but these videos have given a new meaning to 'up close and personal'. One of the frames showed close-up shots of the icon's private parts that are developed using her own genital scans.

With the social media outrage, the legendary singer has now hit back at her haters with an interview. She shared the interview between her and Beeple on Instagram where they discussed their vision. Madonna explained, "I’m doing what women have been doing since the beginning of time, which is giving birth. But on a more existential level, I’m giving birth to art and creativity and we would be lost without both." The legendary artist added, "I think it’s really important that a lot of thought and conversation went into creating these videos."

Madonna joked, "I say we need a forest with creepy crawly bugs coming out of me. Not often does a robot centipede crawl out of my vagina."

However, she did receive a few support from her fans. A Twitter user said, "Still not a fan of NFTs but that's actually such a wonderful and insane project. Like who is doing this other than her? Madonna, mother of creation and queen of eternally being 10 steps ahead" while another said: "A little freaky; a little eerie; and yet, quite moving. xxx"

Another asked, "Can we get a log coming out if her butt?"
