Macaulay Culkin's addition to 'American Horror Story' cast has fans going gaga with 'Home Alone' feels

AHS has announced the cast for Season 10, and Macaulay Culkin's surprise addition to the series could only be referred to as 'home alone and haunted'

Macaulay Culkin will be making his long-awaited comeback with Season 10 of 'American Horror Story' and that is all everyone wants to and has been talking about.

The cast for the upcoming installation of AHS has finally been revealed, and fans' reactions to the announcement have been sky high.

Ryan Murphy, the series co-creator took to Instagram to post the official star-studded list comprising returning and key cast members Sarah Paulson, Even Peters, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Finn Wittrock.

One fan has a potential plot for the season already mapped out, declaring, "I will buy and watch every season of this show if Season 10 is Macaulay Culkin going through a spiritual journey of his career and having to literally fight his demons until he ends being the awesome dude he is now."

In a hilarious tweet, another fan expressed his sudden realization of Culkin's existence saying, " I read Macaulay Culkin and I was shocked because I forgot he was an actual actor and not some dude living in the RedLetterMedia studio waiting to be summoned for his appearances in their videos."

Even Ted Cruz didn't hold back from the hype. The junior United States Senator for Texas said, "Macaulay Culkin joins the cast of 'American Horror Story'. Brings a totally new meaning to 'Home Alone'."

Some fans expressed their delight at having Culkin aboard, sighting similarities with Kevin from 'Home Alone', the character, and the movie that catapulted him to stardom.

Having witnessed Kevin's notoriety, one fan noted: "Macaulay Culkin and Evan Peters are on the new 'American Horror Story' season, IK they're definitely gonna be doing some weird s**t and I'm here for it."

A second fan addressed in a tweet to Culkin, "I’m only gonna watch your season of 'American Horror Story' because I know there’s gotta be some degree of competitive sibling rivalry and Kieran is roughly 50% of the reason I watch 'Succession'. I’m expecting you to go full-blown Jack Nicholson in 'The Shining'."

A third fan may have hit the nail with a prediction saying, "I guarantee you they’ll have a scene in 'American Horror Story' where @IncredibleCulk screams and does the famous 'Home Alone' pose! Tell me, I’m wrong!" Now, that would be iconic.

Another fan summarised the new season in a single line: "Macaulay Culkin on 'American Horror Story'? We home alone AND haunted".

AHS Season 10 is slated to premiere this fall.
