'Love Is Blind' Season 4: Bliss' father questions her future with Zack, calls show's experiment 'insane'
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: Netflix released three new episodes of the latest season of 'Love Is Blind' this week, before the season finale on April 14. Zack Goytowski ultimately meets Bliss Poureetezadi's parents, which may not have gone well for him.
When it came to season 4 participant Zack, Love wasn't quite blind. The oddball 31-year-old criminal defense attorney was smitten with two ladies in the pods: one who gave him cupcakes for his birthday (33-year-old senior program manager Bliss) and another who was the pod mean girl and caused trouble with several of the other girls (26-year-old business owner Irina). Zack let Bliss go in the pods and proposed to Irina in a very cringy musical scene, claiming he understood Irina's real character. But it was evident from the minute the two laid eyes on each other that things were far from idyllic. They didn't kiss during their initial encounter, and things became much more uncomfortable in Mexico. The two parted ways in Mexico, with Zack looking for Bliss when he returned to Seattle. Though Bliss was skeptical about their future, there were obvious sparks between the two following their first encounter. Zack eventually proposed when the couple was on a boat date. Though Zack was concerned that she might say no, Bliss stated that she "thought about it," but that their romance "feels right." Nonetheless, she subsequently stated that she feels like a "second choice," despite Zack's assurances that she is not.

With mixed outcomes, Zack meets Bliss' parents
Zack meets Bliss' family, with varying degrees of success. Bliss' mother seemed to be in favor of him joining her family, saying to Zack, "I'll be your mom," when he revealed that his own mother had died. However, Bliss' father appears to be considerably more skeptical about the union.
"All I can say is good luck," Bliss' father stated, mocking the idea of the couple marrying. "Let's hope you guys are making the right choice. I mean, [knowing each other for] 20 days is just insanity. "After the stressful lunch, Bliss defends her decision to marry Zack, but after her bachelorette party, she reveals that her and Zack's experience makes her unclear whether she's truly prepared to marry him.
In a previous teaser, Zack is seen on his wedding day chatting to some male pals, stating, "I don't want to be in a marriage where your parents hate me. You know, Romeo and Juliet didn't work for a reason."
Is Bliss doubting her decision to marry Zack?
Bliss and Zack express their feelings about their future marriage after their meeting with their parents. Bliss claims she is only attempting to 'trust' the process and him. She is afraid since both of their parents split, and she does not want to be in that circumstance. Zack, on the other hand, is quite certain of their relationship.
Bliss makes a remark. Zack should not have revealed to her father how long they had known each other. Bliss' father had concerns about this. Zack feels they know each other well enough and are learning more about each other every day.
Bliss is concerned about how quickly Zack became engaged to Irina before proposing to Bliss. Bliss clarifies that she isn't concerned about Zack being unfaithful, but rather about him being hesitant about his decision to remain with her.
The first 11 episodes of 'Love Is Blind' Season 4 are available for streaming on Netflix.
