Jessica and Maurice got off to a flying start but there were going to be hiccups along the way. What's reality TV without some relationship drama?

In this week's episode of 'Love After Lockup,' the couple drives to meet with his daughter, Makayla, whom he has been excited to meet. Jessica shares in her confessional that she and his kid have been in touch and they talk all the time. Maurice even asked what her reaction would be when she finally meets him, to which Jessica said: "She gonna cry."

However, when the moment finally arrived, and Maurice was seconds close to meeting with Makayla, he went off on his own leaving Jessica in the car and didn't introduce her to his family members, which struck as odd to Jessica who thought their worlds were different.

This wasn't the first time that Jessica has had doubts about being with Maurice. Earlier, she had admitted that there could be a chance that he was with her only because of sex and that he has been using her, something her parents warned her about. They were not entirely sure or approving of Jessica's decision to spend the rest of her life with Maurice but she was determined and much-in-love, therefore, getting involved with an ex-felon didn't seem like a far-fetched idea for her. She even cut ties with her own sister to be with him. Here's hoping all that trouble is worth it.

"Jessica on some bullshit. You a whole adult with a whole mouth. Use it. Don’t blame him because you felt like the awkward white girl around all black people. #loveafterlockup," a fan commented.

"Jessica having a top-notch white girl moment in a Black people space #loveafterlockup," another pointed out.

"Jessica only cried cause she's not used to being the only white girl in the room. #LoveAfterLockup," a user tweeted.

"I didn’t realize that Maurice didn’t introduce his daughter’s family to Jessica lol let’s address the elephant in the room. Who is the white girl?  #LoveAfterLockup," a fan pointed out.
