LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The upcoming Netflix documentary is an unintended and unexpected 'social experiment' that will delve into the lives of adventurous couple Matt Robertson and Khani Le, who were stuck in Costa Rica for nearly 79 days due to the COVID pandemic. The couple's third date in Costa Rica turned out to be a compatibility test for them because of their unusual situation. The Netflix docudrama will explore the experiences they had as well as moments captured on their smartphones during their trip.
Jordana Hochman, Sarah Howell, Eric Hoberman, Jon Katz, Brent Hodge, Stephen Ruddy, Darin Friedmann, and Mike Ang executive produced the documentary, which is directed by Brent Hodge. ITV America produced the documentary film in collaboration with Civilian 7 Entertainment.
