The second season of ‘Locke & Key’ saw the Locke family fighting the evil demon Dodge, who took the shape of Kinsey’s boyfriend, Gabe, for most of the season. However, they were able to defeat the evil demon by killing her. As a result, the Locke family was seen returning to normalcy and finally trying to enjoy Duncan’s wedding. However, a new villain has emerged and he is undoubtedly the most dangerous of all.

Over the course of eight episodes, we see the Locke family and their loved ones trying to keep Gideon (Kevin Durand) away from the magical keys. However, a known face re-appears on the show and makes things worse for everyone. The person who makes a return to the show is none other than Dodge (Laysla De Oliviera). Yes, you heard it right. The evil demon makes a comeback because of some foolishness from Bode and wreaks havoc.

In episode 2 of ‘Locke & Key’ Season 3, Bode finds the Time Shift Key that allows the user to witness past events. As soon as he gets to know that, he decides to use the key in order to meet his father, Rendell. He uses it to travel back in time. He ends up in Keyhouse during the time Benjamin Locke (Carson MacCormac) was alive. Bode talks to Benjamin before the time run out. On his next trip, he even takes Jamie with him. However, he wasn’t able to see his father once again because his time ran out after he got to see young Duncan.

Duncan gets to know about Bode’s adventures and tells him to not use the key again. He takes the key away from him. However, Bode keeps on hunting for the key and when he finds the key again, he travels back to the time when Kinsey, Scot, Bode, and Tyler were setting a trap for Dodge, a sequence that took place in Season 2. That was the moment when Bode was in trouble and was in chains. Duncan realizes that something is weird and finds the Time Shift Key again. Now, he tries to run away and gets somewhere he is safe from Gabe/Dodge. Soon, Gabe transforms into Dodge (Laysla De Oliviera) and chases Bode. She is able to catch Bode just in time and Dodge gets transported to the real world.

However, things get worse when Bode tries using the Ghost key to get rid of Dodge, even when we know that his body will remain vulnerable to the demon if it’s on the loose. Bode tries trapping Dodge, but she senses what he is trying to do and once they become ghosts, Dodge takes possession of Bode’s body.

Well, it takes a lot of effort to get her out of Bode’s body and we believe that Dodge is, once again, dead.

'Locke & Key' Season 3 is currently streaming on Netflix
