Lizzo leaves little to the imagination as she hits the beach in a sexy gold cutout swimsuit

“I love you. You are beautiful. You can do anything. (Repeat),” she wrote alongside the two images she shared on Instagram -- one on the sand, and the other by a set of rocks.

Across the Tasman Sea from a blazing Australia, pop singer Lizzo is setting New Zealand afire in a thoroughly different way. The ‘Truth Hurts’ singer shared photos from Auckland where she can be seen on the beach in a golden bikini.

“I love you. You are beautiful. You can do anything. (Repeat),” she wrote alongside the two images she shared on Instagram -- one on the sand, and the other by a set of rocks.
Currently in New Zealand for her “Cuz I Love You Too” tour, Lizzo performed four of her biggest hits for a select crowd at a secret showcase, before playing a full set outdoors at The Trusts Arena on the FOMO stage earlier this week.

Things have never been better for the 31-year-old hitmaker as she is soon to make her debut performance at the Grammy's later this month. In addition to that, she already has eight nominations lined up there.

Lizzo did, however, recently find herself embroiled in controversy. The body-positivity-spreading popstar, who has acknowledged in several interviews that she has struggled with self-acceptance and is grateful that plus-sized women are getting more platforms, found herself being attacked by former ‘Biggest Loser’ trainer Jillian Michaels. “Why are we celebrating her body? Why does it matter?” Michaels asked in an interview. “It isn't gonna be awesome if she gets diabetes. I'm just being honest.”

“I love her music, my kid loves her music. But there's never a moment where I'm like, 'I'm so glad that she's overweight.' Like why do I even care? Why is it my job to care about her weight?” she added.

After some backlash from Lizzo fans who labeled her as fatphobic, however, Michaels took a softer position. She said, “One, love yourself no matter what 100 percent, always advocated that. Have said repeatedly for decades now that everybody should be included, valued, they're worthy, they're beautiful. And, only from this place, can you be healthier, physically, emotionally in your relationships, with your work."

Michaels added, “The second narrative is that we cannot deny the inevitable fact that being overweight leads to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and these things kill people.”
