The emotionally-charged Season 6 kickoff special episode of 'Little Women: Atlanta' that aired last week not only paid tribute to the deceased star Ashley "Minnie" Ross but also featured a number of ugly fights and poignant revelations. One of them being the almost breakup of the Tiny Twinz — Amanda and Andrea Salinas.

The two began their career together as dancers and then moved on to do club promotion and event hosting while also trying to make a musical career for themselves. Back in season three, their manager was the one who brought up the topic of Amanda considering a solo career because Andrea was caught up between Dallas and Atlanta due to her eldest Andre's bad health.

Amanda too had put her career on hold because of this, and their manager as well as the audience wanted her to go ahead and pursue a solo career and put an end to the co-dependency.

On the Season 6 kick-off episode, host Terra Jole asked the Tiny Twinz if they were still rapping and what were their future plans to which Amanda replied that they'd been talking to producers and trying to figure stuff out. However, in the very next breath, she added, "To be honest I wanna do things by myself."

A visibly shaken Andrea confirmed that this was the first time she was hearing it and was caught off guard by her sister's declaration. She admitted to feeling hurt and felt that marriage changed her sister.

Amanda, on the other hand, said that she now feels her responsibility is her husband, Jordan, and another reason why she wanted to go solo was to be prepared for whatever the future holds. "I have to worry about myself. Sooner or later we are going to go our separate ways so I gotta figure for myself what I have to do," Amanda said while Andrea fought back tears.

So are the Tiny Twinz still making music together?

Amanda and Andrea hadn't spoken since they shot the kickoff episode. To talk things over, Andrea invited Amanda to her home on the pretext of needing help with putting together a dresser she ordered. "I have been feeling really lost since Amanda told me she wants to go solo. She's always been the one with all the answers and it felt like I am losing my best friend. This dresser is just an excuse to get her over here just to talk because I really do miss my twin sister," Andrea said in a confessional.

After a few minutes of Amanda arriving at her place, Andrea asked her about their conversation during the kickoff episode. Amanda began explaining that they have their own separate lives and that she wants to do solo music.

"I want to do other things besides us doing stuff together because the end of the day you gotta think about yourself. We are just growing up," she said. While at it, she also explained to Andrea that it's not that she's breaking up the Tiny Twinz and that they'd keep doing what they do but also clarified that a solo career for her is something that she's definitely pursuing.
