Lin Wood targets Chief Justice Roberts again, asks if he was involved in Justice Antonin Scalia's death

The pro-Trump lawyer, who is trying hard to see the election result overturned, also accused Roberts of being part of a child-sex cult

Lin Wood, the controversial pro-Donald Trump attorney from Atlanta who has been continuing his tirade to see the 2020 presidential election results overturned in favor of the Republican, has taken on Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts once again. On Wednesday, December 30, Wood, who is called the "Attorney for the Damned", alleged that Roberts was somehow involved in the death of Justice Antonin Scalia and in a child-sex cult.

The 68-year-old Wood came up with a series of accusations against the SCOTUS chief justice in a series of tweets. In one, he told Roberts that he was recorded talking about Scalia’s successor before his sudden death. “How did you know Scalia was going to die?” Wood asked. In another question posed in the same tweet, he asked Roberts: “Are you a member of any club or cabal requiring minor children as initiation fee?”

In February 2016, 10 days before Justice Scalia passed away unexpectedly, Roberts came up with harsh criticism of the SCOTUS’ confirmation process. According to a report in The New York Times in March 2016, he said the Senate should also see whether nominees to the top court are qualified enough and exclude political factors.

Wood, who recently gave a call for the arrest of top Republican leaders in Georgia besides poll-bound Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue ahead of the crucial runoffs on January 5, posted another tweet in which he linked the chief justice with late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

He tweeted: “My information from a reliable source is that Roberts arranged an illegal adoption of two young children from Wales through Jeffrey Epstein. I think we can all agree that Epstein knows pedophilia. If only Jeffrey Epstein was still alive... Wouldn’t that be something?”

In a third tweet, Wood targeted 65-year-old Roberts again, saying: “A bit more on CJ John Roberts. I have publicly accused him & Justice Breyer of being profane anti-Trumpers. I have linked Roberts to illegal adoption, Jeffrey Epstein, pedophilia & prior knowledge of Scalia’s death. Did Roberts skip class on defamation? Maybe not...”

The QAnon-peddling attorney was clearly trying to provoke the chief justice who did not come with a defamation suit in reaction to his serious allegations. Daily Beast said in a report that Wood did not immediately respond to a request for comment on his allegations.

Wood accused Roberts of plotting to see Trump exit

Earlier in December, Wood went on another Twitter tirade attacking Roberts. In one, he called the chief justice corrupt and wanted him along with Justice Stephen Breyer to resign immediately. “This may be the most important tweet of my life. Chief Justice John Roberts is corrupt & should resign immediately. Justice Stephen Breyer should also resign immediately. They are “anti-Trumpers” dedicated to preventing the public from knowing the TRUTH of @realDonaldTrump re-election.”

In another post, he alleged that Roberts did not want Trump to get re-elected and also accused the latter of calling the president a “motherf**ker”. “In discussing @realDonaldTrump in a phone conversation in 8/19, Justice John Roberts stated that he would make sure “the motherf**ker would never be re-elected.” Roberts engaged in phone conversations with Justice Stephen Breyer discussing how to work to get Trump voted out,” he said.

Wood also attacked Roberts over his alleged connection with Epstein then, saying in a tweet: "I have long had questions about 'the John Roberts' on Jeffrey Epstein private jet flight logs. I suspected it was our Chief Justice. MSM has shown no interest in investigating the issue to find TRUTH. America is now entitled to know the answer. Every lie will be revealed.”

Trump loyalists have backed Wood rant

Wood’s tirade to see Trump getting elected in the presidential election has been so extreme that even people from the president’s own campaign have been left inconvenienced. Particularly, the MAGA lawyer’s call to GOP supporters to boycott the Georgia Senate races has irked many in the party but Trump himself has been in touch with Wood personally.

Earlier in December, the Beast reported that one of Trump’s loyalists, Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, acknowledged that he has spent more than a million from his own pockets to back efforts to nullify Joe Biden’s win in last month’s presidential election. Lindell, who has worked as the Minnesota co-chair of Trump’s reelection campaign, has been in touch with pro-Trump lawyers and conservatives (like Michael Flynn) to talk over the alleged election fraud.

He is even sponsoring the post-election efforts of pro-Trump lawyers, including Wood and Sidney Powell, the latter being a former top member of Trump’s legal team. Trump’s loyalists' disappointment with the SCOTUS are understandable from the fact the president did not get a respite from the top court in his bid to overturn the election results dispute the bench having as many as three judges picked by him.

Chief Justice Roberts, who was nominated by George W Bush in 2005, has also taken positions opposing Trump’s take on issues, like his position being immune from the grand jury. No wonder, the president’s fans are not happy.
