Named after Prince's 1984 blockbuster opening soundtrack from 'Purple Rain', a special ‘Let's Go Crazy: A Grammy Salute To Prince’ was aired on April 21 to pay a tribute to the legend on his fourth death anniversary.

The night kicked off with an absolutely electrifying performance of the titular 'Let's Go Crazy' from H.E.R. and Gary Clark Jr., featuring Sheila E on drums. Soon, singer Miguel Jontel Pimentel took the stage and surprised viewers with his sexy dance moves and melodious voice.

Sharing a snippet of his performance, an official tweet from CBS read, "Amazing! We need those dance moves and outfits." Fans were excited to see him. One said, "Come through Miguel!!! Especially with this interpretive dance," and another wrote, "What in the interpretive dance hell is Miguel doing? "I Would Die 4 U" is perfect for him though!"

One went on to say, "Miguel better calm down before he kicks someone in the audience again!" and another shocked fan posted, "What’s this sexy dance move Miguel got going on."

"Literally obsessed with Miguel. (And his wife, lol)," one wrote and another said, "Oh, we are getting t**ty meat from John Legend and eyeliner from Miguel. I am here for this. #GRAMMYSaluteprince."

Calling his performance a "leg drop," one wrote, "Seriously, what’s a Miguel televised performance with a leg drop."

What's more, many fans felt Miguel could embody Prince is this generation. "Nobody this era embodying Prince but Miguel is the only one who comes close! Ain’t nobody topping him tonight." Another said, "@Miguel is the only one I want to see playing Prince in the Biopic. PERIOD!"

One said Miguel could be a 'great Prince': "I still think it’s too soon to say but Miguel would make a great Prince I. A movie. #GRAMMYSalutePrince." Another wrote: "Watching this #Prince tribute and never noticed how much of a Prince sorta vibe that Miguel kinda gives off. I don't know if he was trying for it, but it felt authentic."

'Let’s Go Crazy: A Grammy Salute To Prince' began with two Grammy-winning artists performing one of the most iconic Prince and The Revolution songs. 'Let's Go Crazy' was often thought to be urging listeners to follow Christian ethics and the performance from H.E.R. and Gary Clark Jr. beautifully brought out the soul of this song. Following a beautiful performance by Miguel, John Legend took to the stage, shirtless, in a blue suit and sang his rendition of 'Nothing Compares 2 U'. Interestingly, the Foo Fighters performed their cover of 'Darling Nikki' which was rumored to have been hated by Prince.  The feature premiered at 8 pm CT / 9 pm ET on April 21, 2020.
