SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: The 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' star Lisa Barlow has recently found herself in legal trouble after she failed to repay a $410 loan. The reality star and her companies, Vida Tequila and Luxe Marketing, faced a lawsuit filed by Bart Carlson.
Bart, a longtime personal friend of Lisa Barlow, claimed that he had provided loans to the Bravo star dating back over a decade. According to TMZ, Bart alleged in his lawsuit that Lisa approached him in 2010, seeking financial assistance for her businesses, Vida Tequila and Luxe Marketing, which were facing financial difficulties at the time.
Bart agreed to lend the money to Lisa without specifying a repayment timeline due to their longstanding friendship. According to his claims, Bart alleged that he loaned Lisa, Vida Tequila, and Luxe Marketing a total of $410,842.36 between May 2010 and February 2018, but none of it has been repaid.
In his lawsuit, Bart also alleged that whenever he asked for repayment, Lisa purportedly responded by stating that neither she nor her companies had the means to settle the debt.

The Bravo star also emphasized, "It's not just when I'm on girls' trips, it's not when I'm hanging out, it's for me to go to the grocery store." During the Season 4 reunion, Lisa also admitted her poor eyesight makes doing her makeup essentially impossible on her own.

Lisa revealed at the time, "I am pulling up my jeans and I feel my ring start to slip off my finger. And I felt like I caught it, and then I looked and I’m like, 'Oh, my gosh, my ring is missing.' I literally stayed in that bathroom for at least 45 minutes." However, Lisa recently replaced her ring with a $58,000 statement piece.
