'Legacies' was once again on a small break during the week of Thanksgiving — the second in The CW show's Season 2. Though the current season is longer than Season 1 (20 episodes against the first season's 16), the count is lower than most CW shows.

'Legacies' returns this Thursday with Episode 7. Episode 6 saw a major change in terms of storyline. With the appearance of Riley Voelkel as Freya, Josie worked out how to reverse-engineer an ancient Japanese black magic purge spell, using the new spell to unlock everyone's memories of Hope.

What comes next will be a lot of pain, anger, and confusion. We also saw that Landon was quite upset with Hope's decision not to reveal anything about herself before he got his memories back, though Hope tells him she thought he was happier than he was with her — enough to sleep with someone else for the first time.

But Hope may have had a point. With things between them still unresolved, Landon goes back to Josie, reiterating how he thinks she's the most selfless person he knows. Though fans might not want Jandon together any longer, it might still be a while before that happens.

There is also the looming threat of Malivore and a very accessible portal to the pit right in the middle of Mystic Falls. In the next episode, Josie will come up with a risky plan to close the Malivore portal and it would seem Lizzie talks her into working with Hope to do this.

How will Josie reconcile her old friendship with Hope with the new hatred for a girl she thought she did not know? It might be revealed in this episode and though Josie's and Hope's friendship would be quite frayed now, maybe the two can find a way to work it out.

From the promo we also see Josie pressuring Landon to choose between her and Hope. We also see that a duplicate Landon has been created — perhaps each Landon is one that prefers one girl over the other.

Meanwhile, it would seem Dorian and Alaric will make "an alarming discovery" about Professor Vardemus. Earlier, we found out that Vardemus is actually Clarke in disguise.

So that leaves us wondering as to how he was able to do that (gett the magical ring that gives him the disguise) and what could have happened to the real Vardemus.

We will also see Rafael learning some upsetting news about Landon's future. We know that Landon is Malivore's son and that he is a phoenix.

Perhaps the next episode could reveal some of Landon's additional powers. Furthermore, Malivore is after Landon this time around and we might learn that Landon, not Hope, is the key to destroying Malivore, but to do that, Landon might have to sacrifice himself.

'Legacies' airs on The CW on Thursday nights.
