'Legacies' Season 2 Episode 5: Now that Sebastian is free from his vampire prison, will he go back to see Lizzie?
When Sebastian made his first appearance to Lizzie earlier in Season 2 of 'Legacies', Lizzie and the viewers took a collective swoon. Reminiscent of both Damon from 'The Vampire Diaries' and Elijah from 'The Originals', Sebastian seemed to feel like a long lost Salvatore brother.
After MG convinced that her that she was seeing things, Sebastian could not reach Lizzie anymore, so he did the next best thing: connect with MG's mind. And as fans predicted, it turns out Sebastian was a desiccated vampire who was awakened when MG and Kaleb moved the skull tower thing in the first episode and blood spilled.
Now, Sebastian is on one mission which is to get MG to give him a much larger supply of blood. MG, smartly, ropes in Kaleb who is a lot smarter than either MG or Lizzie. Kaleb knows this vampire must have been stored inside a box for centuries for a reason and goes to Alaric for guidance, which brings us to an aww-moment when Kaleb tells Alaric that he was the only one who voted for Alaric to stay.
Kaleb gives the real Sebastian a tiny amount of blood to make him talk, but Sebastian does not seem intent on telling the truth. So Kaleb walks away, promising to burn Sebastian's body after the decade dance. However, that gave Sebastian enough time to reach Wade (poor Wade) who ostensibly became a live blood bag for Sebastian who is now awake and thriving. But, what does this mean for Sebastian?
We're curious to find out about Sebastian's history and whether his conversations with Lizzie were just a manipulative maneuver or whether she really reminded him of someone he once knew.
Sebastian might be forced to stick around Mystic Falls since he will be finding himself in a world he is quite unfamiliar with considering that he is a really old vampire. But, with his penchant for lies, Lizzie needs to be careful of Sebastian.
'Legacies' airs on The CW on Thursday nights.
