Lauren Marie Dooley: Woman, 22, duct-tapes naked Tinder date, chokes and slashes him before ordering food

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO: A Colorado woman was arrested for allegedly duct-taping her naked Tinder date, choking him, and slashing him with a knife on September 28. 22-year-old Lauren Marie Dooley then went on to order food from DoorDash. She was hit with several felony charges last week.
The horrifying attack on Dooley's 21-year-old Tinder date took place inside her apartment in Colorado Springs, a newly released affidavit claims. She allegedly enticed her date, who she had met on Tinder not long ago, to remove his clothes. She then performed oral sex on him on the couch, claims the affidavit obtained by WKRC. Dooley then used duct tape to bind his feet and hands, which the victim apparently did not oppose to. The victim's name is redacted in the affidavit.

“[The victim] found it odd, but consented to it,” the affidavit says. Dooley then ordered him to go into the bedroom, threatening him with a kitchen knife, the victim reportedly told police. “Fearing Lauren would harm him with the knife, he obeyed and got into her bed. Lauren climbed on top of him and proceeded to use the knife to cut his left shoulder,” the affidavit says.
Dooley went on to choke the man repeatedly and check his neck for a pulse, cops said. “Lauren then used both her hands to apply direct pressure to [the victim’s] throat for approximately 20 seconds, making it difficult to breath. Lauren stopped, but only to procure a belt that she then placed around [the victim’s] neck,” the affidavit says. “She tightened the belt for another 20 seconds, once more making it difficult to breath. When she took it off, she checked [the victim’s] neck for a pulse.” She then ordered takeout via DoorDash, threatening to kill him if he tried to scream to the delivery driver. She ate her food and got into bed with him.
Officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a residence in the 2500 block of E Cache La Poudre Street to investigate an unknown call for assistance. The emergency dispatcher, who was on an open line with the victim, told cops a female could be heard in the background. The victim said he was “bleeding all over the bed", and then was heard telling someone “because you cut me” and “you’re going to kill me".
“Upon our arrival, residents at the apartment advised there was a naked male in the parking lot that needed help,” the affidavit states. “Officers located [the victim] who was naked and appeared to be bleeding from a laceration on his left arm. [He] was also actively backing away from the suspect . . . Dooley . . . who appeared to have blood smeared on her arms and hands. [The victim] exclaimed that Lauren tied him up and cut him.”
“When officers conducted a cursory sweep of [the] unit . . . to see if there was anyone else that needed medical assistance, they observed a kitchen knife near the bed, several blood soaked rags and blood all over the bathtub,” the document adds.
Dooley was taken into custody last week and charged with one felony count each of second-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, and menacing, records reviewed by Law&Crime revealed. Additionally, she was charged with one misdemeanor count of false imprisonment.
