Donald Trump will be a predominant entity in Republican Party politics for years to come, regardless of his second term win or loss, Fox News host Laura Ingraham said on her show 'The Ingraham Angle' on Friday night. "If it's time to accept an unfavorable outcome -- and we hope it never comes -- but if and when this does happen, Trump needs to do it with the same grace and composure he demonstrated at that town hall with Savannah Guthrie," Ingraham said.

"So many people remarked about his tone and presence, exactly what he needs." Ingraham also stated that the possibility of losing a vehemently debated election is a "gut punch" for those involved and supporting the office-bearer. "I'm not conceding anything tonight, by the way," she said, "but losing, if that's what happens, is awful. President Trump's legacy will only become more significant if he focuses on moving the country forward. Then the love and respect supporters feel for him, it's only going to grow stronger and his legacy more historically significant."

Ingraham also played clips of liberal journalist John Avlon claiming Trump "sows seeds of doubt in our democracy," former Vice President Al Gore calling the president's rhetoric "disqualifying," and MSNBC pundit John Heilemann claiming Trump is acting as a "tinpot dictator." Ingraham dubbed Heilemann's comments as "ignorant," heeding that he continued to assert Trump is a racist despite expanding non-White electoral support for the Republican Party more than most other GOP presidential candidates in history, according to Fox News. "If there is no path for Donald Trump's second term, it doesn't mean the end of the America First movement or his role in leading it. On the contrary, this is only the beginning," Ingraham said.

During the segment, she also claimed, "The media knows he will be a GOP kingmaker for 2022 and 2024, no doubt." She continued, "They know he's a political hero to tens of millions of Americans, and they want to take that from him, too." The Internet has not taken kindly to any of the claims made by Ingraham on the show and a lot of them sounded off on Twitter, many branding her an "idiot" for doing so.

"HE WILL LOSE AND HE OR ANY MEMBER OF HIS MORON FAMILY WILL SOON BE FORGOTTEN AND SO WILL YOU .YOU IDIOT," wrote a Twitter user.

"Explain to me how he can be a king maker when he can’t win a second term? Really?" tweeted another.

"Why do you people enable this fool, and it's like a joke!! Like all you assholes kiss ass like to no end," read another tweet.

"Ingraham is a nut & does her Republican following no favors by engaging in these fantasies. If Trump has lost, it will be fair & square and by a solid amount in terms of the Electoral College. P.S. A lot of non-Trump GOP candidates did darn well Tuesday in AZ & elsewhere," tweeted an irate user. "Laura Ingraham drew the short straw. She’s calling Trump a king maker with a grand GOP future," read another tweet.
