HBO is set to bring to screens a chilling new drama that is based on real events. ‘Landscapers’ is set to hit screens very soon and will follow the true story of a shocking murder that remained unearthed for years on end.

HBO’s latest true-crime series is another exciting addition that viewers can look forward to as it stars some excellent actors and an electrifying tale of killing. What is ‘Landscapers’ about

The four-part limited series, inspired by true events, tells the story of Susan and Christopher Edwards, a mild-mannered couple who went on to kill Susan’s parents and bury them in their back garden, a crime that remained undiscovered for nearly a decade. The true-crime drama series is based on extensive research, hours of interviews, and direct access to the accused, who have always claimed their innocence. 'Landscapers' will be brought to life by a brilliant cast and follow the true story with a sprinkling of dark humor.



 

Who stars in the HBO crime series

Olivia Colman as Susan Edwards

Olivia Colman is a popular English actress who has a number of accolades to her name which includes Gloden Globe Awards to an Academy award and more. Some of her critically acclaimed roles include Angela Burr from the hit BBC series 'The Night Manager' and  Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix's ' The Crown'. She can also be seen in ' Murder on the Orient Express' and 'The Father' in more recent times.

Colman will be portraying Susan Edwards, one half of the murderous couple in 'Landscapers'.



 

The rest of the cast consists of David Thewlis as Christopher Edwards, Kate O'Flynn, Dipo Ola, Samuel Anderson, Karl Johnson, Felicity Montagu, and Daniel Rigby.

Showrunners

'Landscapers' is written by Ed Sinclair and is executive produced by Will Sharpe. The series is a co-production between HBO and Sky and is the latest project from SISTER, the company that brought us the multi-Emmy and BAFTA award-winning limited series, 'Chernobyl'.
