Lady Gaga mocked for trying to look like ‘redneck’ while rallying support for Joe Biden: 'This vid is cringe AF'

Lady Gaga was mocked on social media for trying to rally support for Democratic nominee Joe Biden in an endorsement video while she appeared to look like a 'redneck'. In the video, Lady Gaga said, "Hey, this is Lady Gaga. I’m voting for America, which means I’m voting for Joe Biden."

The 'Poker Face' singer who was dressed in a camouflage-clad outfit and was seen leaning against a pickup truck in a video that was shared on Twitter on Saturday, October 31. "And if you live in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, or Arizona, I encourage you to vote," Gaga says in the video. She was seen taking one sip of beer and trying to crush the can before tossing it on the ground and saying, "Cheers to the 2020 election."

One social media user wrote, "Love ya Gaga but this Vid is Cringe AF it feels insincere & literally makes me not want to vote at all. I honestly wish you never got involved in politics publicly because it’s distracting from the Power of your Musical & Performing Talents. Politics is a Dirty Game Sis.IJS." Another user commented, "This is one of the most tone-deaf things I’ve seen this whole election cycle. You’ve just produced an ad for Trump’s re-election." "camo, big truck, and beer?... it’s like she just tried to use any redneck aesthetic she could think of... this shit ain’t working on anyone... this is almost as bad as Hilary saying she got hot sauce in her bag when trying to cater to black people," yet another added. 

Another user who echoed the same sentiment had written, "I don’t own a truck, never worn camo or drank a beer so if this is your idea of #TrumpSupporters you’re dead wrong we’re college educated, hard working people who love our country but nice try GaGa."

We had earlier reported Lady Gaga taken to Instagram to post where she was seen sporting three voting looks with the background score of her and Blackpink's collab from the ‘Chromatica’ album, ‘Sour Candy’.

In the first look, she was seen in a gray Blackpink t-shirt and a dragged up gas mask blinking the letters 'VOTE' and pink cones poking out of it. The next look is what we believe a harmless dig at Kim Kardashian as she wears biker shorts and a sports bra in dark beige (one of the staple colors of the Kardashians) with a badge that says, 'Voted' and large black sunnies.

The last look was very much her own aesthetic as she wears a white crop top with puffed up sleeves highlighting the word "Vote" again in big black letters paired with a perfectly tailored pair of trousers and a belt.
