LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress Jaime King’s ex-husband Kyle Newman claimed that the actress has not paid up any of the money that he was supposed to receive from her by order of the court. He claimed that "he was so broke that he cannot afford to live."

To support his claims, Newman spoke to TMZ and even showed legal documents. He claimed that the court had ordered King to pay to him $1,000 per month in spousal support and $429 per month as child support. He also added that she never came through with the court ordered disclosure of her income.

Newman stated that King made more than half-a-million dollars out of the community property retirement accounts she decimated and that she was not paying up even after listing their family home for sale without his consent, and making approximately $1.5M off the sale.

Newman said that he had to dip into his retirement funds to make ends meet as he had "nothing." Newman added that he had to put his career on hold in order to take care of their two children and she was earning for the family.

Newman wants King to pay him what she owes and also to compensate him for the attorney fees. He also wants for her to give him his share from the sale of their family home while asking the judge for an extra $50,000 as penalty for defying court orders.

While the marriage is certainly on the rocks, it seemed like a fairytale when it began. Newman and King met in 2005 on the set of his film ‘Fanboys’. They were married in 2007 in an intimate ceremony at Greystone Manion, Los Angeles. After many failed rounds of IVF, they had their first son James. They had their second son Leo in 2016. Interestingly, pop singer Taylor Swift is godmother of one of their children as well.
