KSI, Logan Paul and Mike Majlak discuss how Adin Ross spotted IShowSpeed's potential: 'This kid’s gonna be the next big thing’
THREE RIVERS, CALIFORNIA: Adin Ross predicted IShowSpeed's rise as "The Next Big Thing" in streaming.
The meteoric rise of IShowSpeed in the world of content creation and streaming has marked one of the most inspirational stories in the digital entertainment industry.
Recently, Speed achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 20 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, signaling the dawn of a new and remarkable chapter in his content creation journey.
What makes this achievement even more intriguing is that a fellow streamer, Adin Ross, had foreseen Speed's success during his early days, and their story is an intriguing one.
Adin Ross and IShowSpeed, both prominent figures in the streaming world, have shared a close association and mutual admiration for each other's work.
While they have collaborated on numerous streams and projects, few are aware of the unique history that binds these two streamers together. It turns out that Adin Ross played a pivotal role during IShowSpeed's formative years as a creator.
Mike Majlak shares Adin Ross's remarkable insight
During a recent podcast featuring KSI, Logan Paul, and Mike Majlak, the creators engaged in a discussion about the evolving trends in streaming culture. Amidst the conversation, the spotlight fell on Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed's ascendancy in the streaming industry.
Mike Majlak, shedding light on the past, revealed an interesting prophecy made by Adin Ross about IShowSpeed's success when Speed was just a 16-year-old aspiring creator.
"The Speed thing's crazy. Adin honestly is good at spotting talent. I remember he told me that Speed was going to be the real deal. Speed was 16. He said, 'This kid's gonna be the next big thing,' and I wanted him to move into the house," Mike disclosed.
However, Majlak also mentioned that the idea of a sixteen-year-old Speed living with Adin Ross and himself wasn't initially viewed as an ideal living arrangement.
He acknowledged that he was initially skeptical about having an underage individual in the house, which led to him not giving Speed the respect he deserved in those early days.
KSI and Logan Paul join the praise
KSI and Logan Paul, owners of the prominent streaming platform Prime, did not hold back in expressing their admiration for Speed and Cenat, hailing them as some of the industry's most significant mainstream streamers. They discussed the pair's ability to appeal to a wide range of young audiences, emphasizing their natural talent for entertaining viewers.
KSI highlighted Speed's inherent entertaining qualities, stating, "Bro! He's so naturally entertaining. You can put him into an empty room, and he could entertain for hours. He's so good at it." Notably, KSI and Speed have previously collaborated on projects like "irl Training with KSI," which has garnered substantial attention on YouTube.
