Kobe Bryant death: Dwyane Wade breaks down as he mourns loss of dear friend

As the retired athlete shares his memories with Bryant on social media, he breaks down in his emotional posts.

The country lost a legend today. In a tragic accident, the NBA star, Kobe Bryant and his young daughter lost their lives in a helicopter crash, alonh with seven others and left us in shock. While the entire nation mourns the loss of the Lakers superhero, his close friend, Dwyane Wade poured his heart out on social media and it’s heartbreaking to watch.

“One of the saddest days in my lifetime”, he says. “It seems like a bad dream that you just wanna wake up from. It’s a nightmare”, he painfully added.
The series of videos that the former basketball star shared on his Instagram, saw him in tears as he opened up to the world about his relationship with Bryant and what the legend meant to him.

The former Miami Heat player retired last year and has been very close to Kobe Bryant. His tribute was heartbreaking as he adds more about his friend. He says, “I know we’re all feeling the same way about such a great leader, just a great champion, a great person. If you got a chance to know Kobe, if you got a chance to really know Kobe, there ain’t nobody better, man. Emotions are all over the place. These are the moments where you ask ‘Why?' "

Wade’s video clips also included some footage of himself and Bryant, from their good old days. He mentioned how the Lakers star has been an inspiration for Wade and that he always wanted to be respected by him.

As he ended his video, he added, “Kobe, thank you man, thank you for all the memories. And we got a lot of good ones. And these tears that we’re crying, we gonna miss you. And it’s not gonna go away. … We forever, forever miss you man. … Thank you for being my friend.”

Along with his touching video, he also posted a photo of Bryant with a caption and hashtagging two retired jersey numbers. The caption reads, “Heroes come and go LEGENDS live forever.”

Basketball star and a hero of the LA Lakers team, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were killed in a tragic accident on Sunday, January 26, 2020, as they were traveling in a private helicopter to a basketball game. There were nine people on board and no one is reported to have survived.
