Coach Kliff Kingsbury has reportedly bought a one-way ticket to Thailand and has declined opportunities by multiple NFL teams to interview for their vacant offensive coordinator positions. This comes after Arizona Cardinals fired him, 10 months after signing him to a contract extension through the 2027 season, after the team finished a disappointing 4-13 this past season.
Peter Schrager of Fox News reportedly said, "Multiple teams have contacted Kliff Kingsbury for their vacant OC job. He bought a one way ticket to Thailand and has told teams (respectfully) that he’s not interested at the moment." Kingsbury was fired on January 9. The person who hired him, Cardinals general manager Steve Keim, also resigned from his position the same day, reported Fox Sports.

Schrager reported that Kingsbury has no intention of coaching in 2023 in his Fox Sports’ NFL pregame show on Saturday, January 14. He said, as quoted by New York Post, "One of the guys who’s being mentioned as an offensive coordinator candidate for everywhere from New England to LA [the Rams] has recently-fired Kliff Kingsbury." He added, "He’s [Kingsbury] already been contacted by several different teams about whether he’d like to interview for a job. He said, ‘No, I’m good.’ He’s being paid five years guaranteed by the Arizona Cardinals. That check hits every two weeks. He’s going to take his time before he figures out if he wants to come back to football. For now he has told all teams that he is not interested in returning at the moment.”

On the other hand, Kingsbury’s girlfriend, Veronica Bielek, posted photos from Thailand and Cambodia in the past week, writing, "If I showed you how busy was that beach from the other side and how long were the lines to get here you would prefer to watch it only from Instagram pics."

Bielik is an Instagram celebrity with more than 3.6 million followers. In December 2021, it was first reported that the duo had been dating each other. Veronica has been living at Kliff’s house for the past 2 weeks. Veronica has been Instagramming all over the place, including his master bedroom with the tousled sheets in the background. Sources told New York Post in June 2022 about the pair's relationship, stating that Kingsbury brought Bielik to Rams coach Sean McVay's wedding as well. “Kliff and Veronica are living together. She goes back to Poland for brief periods (vacations with her friends) and then she comes back."
