A few users believed her account was hacked and that the giveaway was a "scam." "It’s astounding a billionaire needs to participate in scams still," one said. Another commented, "You hacked bruh." Kim and her family have frequently come under fire for flaunting their money to the general populace. Kim possesses a shed filled with miniature automobiles for her children, all of various brands and types. Kim also displayed a picture once of her three-year-old son Psalm sporting a $200K emerald necklace that aroused some controversy among netizens. In an interview with Variety, Kim explained how nobody wanted to work anymore and received a backlash for her comments about hard work. She proudly displayed a $2,000 Burberry overcoat on Instagram right after the interview when she was criticized for being "out of touch."

Not only has Kim offended many with her wealth, but so have the other KUWTK stars. Even more so now that she has been bestowed the moniker of a billionaire, Kylie Jenner has a history of flaunting her fortune. The extravagant costumes she has worn have cost more than $1 million in clothing. It costs thousands of dollars just to buy the pram she uses to carry her infant. Prior to boarding a luxury flight, Kylie flaunted her two more expensive Birkins, worth $100,000 and $210,000, respectively.
