The competition between Twitch and Kick took another turn after the most recent bans on the purple platform, and Kick is taking advantage of the restrictions. Twitch already banned BruceDropEmOff for the 4th time in 2023, followed by a one-day ban on popular hot tub streamer Amouranth.

The bans come as Kick continues to aim to recruit the world's top streaming stars, and the site wasted no time in utilizing this latest round of sanctions to entice additional content creators to abandon the service.

Kick mocks Twitch

Kick shared a video of Amouranth and Bruce discussing streaming and their platform preferences in a tweet on May 5. The first contains a video of Amouranth saying, “I would give [Kick] a try for a certain amount of money, but I don’t think I would really go exclusive on there just because their reputation is really risky.” Bruce then tells Kai Cenat that he is "on Twitch for life," stating that the network "treats us f**king amazing."

After both sections, Kick included screenshots of their Twitch accounts being blocked and utilized the chance to criticize Twitch. Kick captioned the video, "They're doing our job for us," evidently praising Twitch for the free marketing.

Have BruceDropEmOff and Amouranth joined Kick?

Although neither Amouranth nor Bruce has yet joined Kick, the latter did inform supporters that they "know what's next" for Bruce following his current ban, implying that a transition is coming.

Users will have to wait and see if either streamer ends up switching platforms, as well as what other big personalities Kick has signed after teasing some massive signings from competing services.
