Each of the contestants who make thier way to 'Shark Tank' all share a dream -- to make it big. While they have unique inventions, ideas and the drive to do so, all that's lacking is the financial push and mentorship to see it through. And who better than to help them than the 'Sharks' on the show, most of whom started with very little, and yet managed to dominate their fields.

With each season of 'Shark Tank' fans can expect to see the usual lineup of sharks -- Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Lori Greiner, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O'Leary and Robert Herjavec. But, there is also the addition of guest sharks that make things a little more exciting. This season, joining them is none other than actor, comedian and entrepreneur, Kevin Hart. For those only familiar with his comedy and acting career, he may seem like an odd fit. But there is more to Hart than meets the eye.

Kevin Darnell Hart was born on July 6, 1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was raised by his mother, Nancy Hart, who was a systems analyst for the Office of Student Registration and Financial Services at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from George Washington High School and attended Community College of Philadelphia before dropping out to move to New York City. He later moved to Brockton, Massachusetts, where he worked as a shoe salesman. Although his career had a relatively slow start, he went on to do comedy tours in 2009. His 2011 tour, 'Laugh At My Pain' grossed over $15 million, making it one of the year's top-selling comedy tours. Apart from being a comedian, Hart also stared in a range of series and movies as well.

His Net Worth

As reported by Celebrity Net Worth Hart has an impressive net worth of $200 million. Apart from being a comedian and acting, he has multiple business ventures that have allowed him to grow his wealth. In 2009, he started HartBeat Productions, which manages his movies, television, comedy and radio productions. In 2017 he launched an underwear line with Tommy John. Around the same time, he launched Laugh Out Loud, a global media and production company that aims to help comedic talent of all ethnicities with global opportunities.

Hart also has a range of endorsement deals and partnerships with brands including Samsung, Wrangler, AT&T, and Mountain Dew.

Hart is also a poker player and has played at major tournaments such as the WSOP, cashing in one event for $4,783 in 2014. He is also the Brand Ambassador for PokerStars and has been a part of their ad campaigns and promotional content. More recently, he won $47,828 in live tournament cashes in 2020.

It comes as no surprise that Hart has some impressive real estate to his name. In 2012 he spent $1.99 million on a home in Tarzana, California, which he later sold for $2.75 million in 2019. He currently stays in a gated community in Calabasas, California, where he purchased a 26-acre plot of undeveloped land in 2015 for $1.35 million.
