Kellyanne Conway's teen daughter Claudia wants to 'intern' for AOC, says she'll change her mom's ringtone to WAP
The teenage daughter of Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, in a tweet on Monday, August 17, said that she would like to intern for Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She later even shared plans to set her mother's cellphone ringtone to the controversial song WAP.
Claudia Conway, 15, had shared Ocasio-Cortez's tweet, reading: "Team AOC is hiring! Field organizers, video producers, creative directors, and more to help us win a future for the many with Medicare for All, a federal jobs guarantee, dismantling systemic racism & a Green New Deal." Claudia responded to the tweet, writing: "Let me intern for you [sic]." The teenager has been consistently trolling her mother for working the Trump administration.
The teen, shortly after her tweet, also slammed her mother for speaking alongside Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. She wrote: "You know life isn’t fair when you wake up to your own mother speaking aside a homophobe and a rapist." Claudia also retweeted a video of her mother sitting next to Pence and Trump while discussing the reopening of schools in the US. The teen followed the tweet with another, writing: "Gonna go on my mother’s phone and set WAP as her ringtone for me." She was referring to the new single by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. The song, which centers on sexual female empowerment, has stirred controversy because of its provocative lyrics.
Claudia, earlier this month, had also asked AOC to "adopt her," adding: "currently CRYING because @AOC follows me. the PEAK of my existence. how’s your morning going? I am on the verge of fainting." The teen, around the same time, also called Trump an "idiot" after she retweeted a post from him which read: "Cases up because of BIG Testing! Much of our Country is doing very well. Open the Schools!" She wrote: "You're a f**king idiot."
The president has consistently blamed the high number of coronavirus cases in the country on increased testing. She also retweeted another tweet of Tump exclaiming: "Open the schools!!!". She retweeted it and added a caption, asking him to "please shut up."
The 15-year-old, last month, had claimed that she has been cured of her anti-Trump views and now supports the Republican leader. Her statement came just days after she claimed her parents were forcing her to delete her social media accounts after she posted a series of tweets and TikTok videos criticizing Trump and backing the Black Lives Matter movement.
Claudia, in a tweet on Monday night, had written: "My parents are forcing me to delete social media, so this is my last tweet. apparently, I don’t have a platform! it’s fake! love you all so much. keep fighting!" Shortly after she had posted a TikTok video of herself dancing and waving a Trump/Pence campaign sign.
The teen had made headlines in June after she became viral for posting anti-Trump content on her social media accounts despite her mother working in the Trump White House. Claudia's latest updates come weeks after she began using her social media accounts to troll her parents, Kellyanne and George Conway, a staunch Trump critic. Although the White House counselor had previously said that she is supportive of her daughter making her own mind about her political views, the teenager had recently claimed that her parents were trying to shut off her phone in an effort to stop her from causing controversy for the family.
