Kathy Griffin renewed her attack on President Donald Trump as she reposted her controversial photo holding the replica of the president’s decapitated bloodied head. The comedian first shared the photo in 2017 and faced a lot of backlash along with losing numerous job gigs. Though Griffin apologized for her actions, a year later she also regretted her apology as she believed Trump intentionally attempted to make her look bad.

According to reports, the 60-year-old tweeted the picture on November 4 after POTUS declared his victory in a number of states, despite no official confirmation. As of Thursday evening, November 5, Griffin’s tweet received more than 9k retweets and over 50k likes. Unlike three years back, she received a lot of support from people on the Internet despite the fact that Twitter flagged her post as "potentially sensitive content." One such tweet was, “Thank you Kathy. Thank you for being the wonderful, brave feminist we need to see fighting the hood fight. The fight for decency and ethics.”

Another user said, “I don't care anymore, I'm with you on this one, he has blood on his hand, this is just child's play compared to the amount of illegal shit he has pulled out.” The third user wrote: “Oh, dear, we're back to the one and only image that you apologized for, and yet that it didn't matter anymore, since he's got blood on his own hands from the 230K that have died.” “THANK YOU! You never deserved any of the backlash for this. You were right all along!” added the fourth user.

There were a few who were offended by Griffin’s stand as a user said, “If a conservative did this everyone would lose their fucking minds. Enough of the double standards.” The second one added: “If this backfires are you gonna cry for the next 4 years about how the orange man ruined your life again?”

In addition to the photo, the Emmy winner also shared another post that read, “It’s not just that trump corrupted the election exactly the way he said he would, post office etc, it’s that 66 million + of my fellow Americans happily voted FOR Racism Sexism Qanon insanity Pandemic denial Kids in cages Voter suppression Church over State Climate disaster.” For the second tweet also, she received positive comments from the people out there as one said, “The rest of the world are horrified at the fact Americans are still voting for Trump: we thought they would have found their moral compass after 4 years of this demagogue.”
“Most trump voters are so myopically focused on their single issue that they don’t see or ignore the bad stuff. They’re not monsters, just blinded by their zeal—whether it be abortion or immigration,” tweeted another one while the third user added: “Regardless of the outcome, I’m so incredibly sad our country is so divided, half filled with hatred and contempt for those who choose to try to live free and in peace. I’m just devastated. I fear for my LGBTQ and disabled family members.”
