BAHAMA MAMA: Kate Middleton rocks those Royal legs in khaki shorts at regatta
The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted rocking a sporty look flaunting her toned legs in shorts and a white polo shirt as she joined Prince William at a royal regatta in the Bahamas on Friday, March 25. The 40-year-old duchess showed off her skinny legs in a pair of J Crew chino shorts which she accessorized with a woven brown belt as she visited the Montagu Beach in Nassau.
Looking her sporty best, Kate matched her Crew chinos with a simple plain white polo shirt from Gill Marine and tied the whole look together with a pair of Superga white trainers expected to cost around. While the Duke kept it casual wearing a pair of shorts matched with a bright blue shirt and a set of boat shoes for the outing.

Kate’s famously fit legs were on display and it was certainly a rarity since both her social and professional schedule tend to call for demure dresses and sensible skirts. This is only the second time in over ten years that the duchess has chosen the cropped look at a public engagement; she was last seen rocking shorts back in 2019 while attending a royal regatta.
Kate once again chose to keep her brunette locks loose for the royal tour despite rain. Earlier in the day, the duo visited Sybil Strachan Primary School Nassau wearing more formal attire. The Duchess had worn a trendy $510 (£350) Self Portrait mint green dress that featured short puff sleeves and pleated detail across the bodice.
Kate paired the dress with her even costlier pair of white Jimmy Choo heels priced around £525 and a $75 (£57) pair of locally designed Nadia Irena’s dangling earrings in gold.
The style is popularly described as “a summer staple” which is “easy and light enough to wear year round”. The dress, however, is labeled online as adding “bursts of femininity and elegance” with a “beautifully crafted from luxurious materials”. Kate had also previously worn the label in a self-hosted event to thank people who volunteered and worked for her Hold Still project last year. She had rocked a tailored white gown from Self Portrait.
The royal pair were papped sheltering from the heavy rain under colorful umbrellas as they reached the school. During their visit, the Duchess delivered a moving speech revolving around missing family and close friends during the Covid-19 pandemic.
