As the exit gate opened, the blue Toyota Corolla took off at a high rate of speed out of the neighborhood in an unknown direction.” The main victim had "a torn muscle in his left leg, a bruise on his left calf, and other possible internal injuries.” However, the victim managed to videograph the incident when Elie tried to run over the victim for the third time. Luckily, he jumped out of the way and managed to avoid being hit.
It has been reported that the vehicle doesn't belong to Elie, rather, it belongs to a woman named Ermitha Germain, who lent it to her brother Mikenson Germain, who then lent it to his nephew, Elie. When authorities reached out to Germain, she "spontaneously uttered that he did nothing wrong and that ‘the other guy’ hit him with the bike,” explains the legal documents. “I explained to Marcendy that he would need to return to the scene to provide his recollection of the event. Marcendy advised he would arrive shortly. Approximately two hours later, Marcendy had not returned.” It also added, “It should be noted that a layer of dirt and grime covered the car, with obvious impressions of where the collision took place in the form of rub marks across the whole passenger side panel of the vehicle."
What was the antisemitic rant he spewed?
When he got arrested, he shouted, "f**** n***a jew b****, Kanye was right, gas the k****." He further stated, "I would rather be arrested by a n***a then a jew." This was because the arresting deputy was of Jewish faith, as per CBS 12 News.
Instances where people claimed 'Kanye Was right'
In October 2022, a group of Kanye supporters hung a huge banner over the Los Angeles freeway, saying “Kanye is right about the Jews." Another poster read, "Honk if you know." Another poster promoted a video platform that streams antisemitic content operated by the Goyim Defense League, as per NBC News. Back then, ADL Southern California tweeted, "Outrageous effort to fan the flames of antisemitism gripping the nation. This group is known for espousing vitriolic #antisemitism and white supremacist ideology. Hate has no place in Los Angeles or elsewhere and these attempts will not divide us."
