Will Kamala Harris replace Joe Biden as president? Ronny Jackson demands 'cognitive exam'
House Rep Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who served as the top White House physician under the Obama and Trump administrations, said on Friday, July 23, that it was more than likely that President Joe Biden won’t finish his first term in office because "he can barely put a coherent sentence together."
"Something is SERIOUSLY wrong with Biden - and it’s only going to get WORSE!" Jackson tweeted. "It’s past the point of embarrassment. He’s lost. He can barely put a coherent sentence together. He MUST have a cognitive exam and release the results!"

'There’s something seriously going on with this man'
He also made an appearance on Fox News where he told host Sean Hannity that Biden will either be ousted from office when the Cabinet invokes the 25th Amendment or he will resign. He also said that it has been apparent that "something’s going on here" and if members of Biden's Cabinet aren't looking into invoking the 25th Amendment, then "this is a national security issue at this point … it really is."
"And I’ve been saying that it’s only going to get worse, and guess what?" he said, adding, "We’re watching that happen right before our eyes right now. And I’m at the point right now where, you know, I went from, you know, telling people, we should be concerned about what might potentially be going on, to now saying, hey, what is happening right now? Where are the people in our academic medicine that were out there calling for President Trump to have a cognitive test? Where are these people? There’s something seriously going on with this man right now. And you know, I think that he’s either gonna, he’s either gonna resign, they’re going to convince him to resign from office at some point in the near future for medical issues, or they’re going to have to use the 25th Amendment to get rid of this man right now. There’s some serious stuff going on right now."
Jackson's comments came after Biden incoherently rambled on and appeared confused when he answered questions during a CNN town hall staged in Cincinnati, Ohio, including when host Don Lemon asked him when vaccinations for children under the age of 12 would be approved. "That's underway, just like the other question that's illogical. And I've heard you speak about it because you always – I'm not being solicitous – but you're always straight up about what you're doing. And the question is whether or not we should be in a position where you uh, um, are - why can't the, the, the experts say we know that this virus is, in fact, uh, um, uh, it's going to be - or, excuse me, we, we, we know why all the drugs approved are not temporarily approved by permanently approved. That's underway too. I expect that to occur quickly," Biden said while fumbling over his words.
Will Kamala Harris replace Biden as the president?
According to the 25th Amendment, "In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President." It further adds, "Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President."
As a result, if Jackson is right, and a 25th Amendment is indeed invoked -- something that has not happened since 2002, when then President George W Bush transferred presidential powers to his VP, Dick Cheney, as he needed a colonoscopy -- Vice President Kamala Harris would become the president. During the 2020 presidential race, former President Donald Trump, who was seeking his second term in office also claimed that that the Democrats would replace Biden with Harris using a planned '25th Amendment Commission' that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi might bring. "Crazy Nancy Pelosi is looking at the 25th Amendment in order to replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris," he tweeted at the time.
Biden has also made multiple gaffes and referred to Harris as "president" or "president-elect" in the past, further fueling the conspiracy theory that he is going to step down and make way for the VP before his term was over.
