COLUMBUS, MISSISSIPPI: According to authorities, a wife has been arrested on suspicion of killing her husband during an argument that was caught on Facebook Live. Kadejah Michele Brown, 28, is accused of committing "senseless murder" on Saturday, March 25, inside a house in a Mississippi town.

Lowndes County Sheriff's deputies hurried to the residence when they heard complaints of domestic violence at 7.42 am that day. The 28-year-old male resident of the house was found dead from a single gunshot wound when they arrived, according to a police statement. Moreover, officials think the two had a fight that was caught on Facebook Live.

The social media platform's live-streaming function is increasingly turning into a stage for bleak truths and actual crime. In a double-murder suicide, Larvell Huddleston fatally shot his former girlfriend, Arieuna Reed, and then died by suicide right after a Facebook live stream. S2K Wya, also known as Angel Hernandez Grado, the Instagram and TikTok star, died by suicide during an Instagram livestream.

Who is Kadejah Michele Brown?



 

According to the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department, Brown began fighting with her husband and began streaming the argument to enthralled viewers on Facebook when things intensified to the point where she fatally shot Jeremy. The responding officers swiftly arrested Brown and removed a 9 mm pistol and other "physical evidence" from the scene, according to a statement from the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office, as reported by The Sun. The two had a record of domestic abuse, according to Sheriff Eddie Hawkins.

"This was a tragic and senseless murder and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim," Hawkins stated. He added, "Fortunately, Brown is in custody and we look forward to the criminal justice system holding her accountable." After being arrested, Brown was transported to the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center, where she will stay until a bond is set. Officials said they will continue to examine the incident as she awaits charges.

'Those kids will be traumatized forever'

Users of social media expressed anger over the incident and called for justice for the victim. Children who were in the apartment at the time of the shooting could be heard yelling and begging their father to stop, according to people who watched the livestream. A user tweeted, "She knew what she was doing & proceed on doing so she’s not sorry 'I’m finna go to jail' 'Murder scene' repeatedly telling her child 'your daddy dead' with no remorse." Another user mentioned, "Those poor children smh that man didn’t deserve that."

Further, someone added, "And she did ts while the kids was in the house." "Bruh she literally kept antagonizing him trying to get him to put his hands on her so she could claim self defense," noted one user. "He literally kept going on about his business and to shoot him in front of his kids is crazy. Those kids will be traumatized forever." One person noted, "Wicked world we living in , I pray we all find peace." "Eye for an eye & let God judge it," said another. The motives behind the woman's heinous crime have piqued the interest of some inquisitive users. A user wrote, "What the husband do to make her that pissed?"
