Wisconsin man shoots dead ex-girlfriend, another man before killing himself by suicide

This tragic case is now being investigated as a double-murder suicide

BROWNDEER, WISCONSIN: A man has fatally shot his ex-girlfriend, who was the mother of his 2-year-old kid, and another man before killing himself by suicide. The crime that took place on Saturday, February 4, was done right after a Facebook live stream. This tragic case is now being investigated as a double-murder suicide. 

According to WITI, Brown Deer police found Arieuna Reed, 23, and Michael Anderson, 31, fatally shot outside the Park Plaza apartment. The suspect, Arieuna’s ex-boyfriend Larvell Huddleston, 26, shot himself right after murdering the two people and injuring another person, Eric Lewis, who was at the crime scene.

Police believe the event was the result of a domestic quarrel, but not much detail has been released to the public. But, police stated that Larvell contacted Arieuna’s parents right after the murder and indirectly conveyed the horrific incident. Arieuna’s parents informed the police stating, “My husband and I got a phone call around 10 in the morning and it was him saying ‘It’s over, come get Egypt now.”

Additionally, their 2-year-old son was also at the apartment but was unharmed.

On the other hand, Lewis came onto the scene while he and some others went there to help Arieuna from the situation. Lewis told WITI that he heard gunshots from his first-floor apartment and saw Arieuna shot and struggling. As Michael and another lady rushed to her aid, Lewis claimed that Larvell shot at all of them, and this is when Michael was killed while the woman escaped. When Lewis went to check on Michael, Larvell shot him right on his ankle, injuring him.

At this moment, police came on the scene but Larvell shot himself dead. All this happened right after Larvell went live on Facebook!

According to medical reports, Michael and Areiuna died at the scene, while Larvell died at the hospital. Other than this, police haven't said whether the other victims were related to Larvell. Speaking of this tragedy, what hurt the netizens more is when the mother of Areiuna said, “It hurts because when you take away a beautiful life that cared about others we miss out." Currently, the only memory Arieuna’s parents have is her two-year-old son, who is safe with them.

Meanwhile, Twitter users expressed their shock over the incident. Many users exclaimed how mental health could tear down a person.

Speaking of it, one tweet read, “He Clearly had Mental Health Issues. He reached out for Assistance numerously, just like she did when she felt less Safe around him. This is the Result of lack of Concern for young Black men and women. #Message #BeSafe #MentalHealthConscious” Another user wrote, “Did the death toll go up to three? This whole thing is horrific.”
