Justin Herbert was born in Eugene, Oregon on March 10, 1998, and attended Sheldon High School, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. Herbert entered his true freshman season in October 2016 listed as QB2 on the depth chart and became the first true freshman at Oregon to start at quarterback since Chris Miller in 1983. He finished his collegiate career at Oregon Ducks where he was named Rose Bowl MVP 2020 and was selected by the Chargers 6th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. Herbert made his NFL debut on September 20, 2020, in Week 2 against Kansas City Chiefs where he had 311 passing yards, one touchdown, one interception, and one rushing touchdown.
