Rihanna has reportedly recorded two songs for 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' and one of the singles is slated to drop on Friday, October 28, 2022. Marvel Studios took to Twitter to make the cryptic announcement with just an 'R' glowing in gold, with the date following, but fans were quick to catch on to the fact that it would be a track reveal by the artist who last recorded her album 'Anti' in 2016. This update comes on the back of news that she will headline the Halftime show of the 2023 Super Bowl.

According to HITS Daily Double, the singer's two new songs are set to feature in the upcoming Marvel film, a sequel to the late Chadwick Boseman-starrer 'Black Panther'. While it was also reported prior that the 34-year-old may star in 'Wakanda Forever', those rumors have been debunked. The first installment saw original songs performed or curated by Kendrick Lamar, and now Rihanna is set to do her bit for the sequel. Prior to the news of the single release on Friday, speculations were rife that one of the songs was for the end credits, although Marvel and the singer didn't confirm the news.
