Who is Josh Lowth? 'Missing' Sarah Everard's boyfriend was on call with her before her rumored kidnap, murder
In a shocking turn of events in the Sarah Everard mysterious disappearance case, human remains have been confirmed from woodland near Ashford, Kent. The update comes just hours after the detained police officer, Wayne Couzens was arrested on suspicion of murder and allegations of indecent exposure. The suspect, in his 40s, is an officer with the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command, the Met said. Following which rumors began circulating that Couzens, a married father of two, had kidnapped, raped and murdered Everard. However, these are only speculations till now and authorities have not confirmed anything.
Meanwhile, Everard's family is in a heartbroken and distraught situation, including her boyfriend Josh Lowth, who was reportedly on the phone with her minutes before her alleged abduction. Everard, was last seen wearing a green rain jacket, navy blue trousers with a white diamond pattern, and turquoise and orange trainers. She is thought to have been wearing green earphones and a white beanie hat.

Who is Josh Lowth?
Lowth is a 33-year-old marketing director from Brixton who was in a relationship with 33-year-old 'missing' Everard. A LinkedIn profile believed to belong to Lowth, lists him as a Marketing Director at MA Exhibitions, an Mark Allen group firm that organizes trade shows. Lowth has been working here since July 2017.
Lowth holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from University of Nottingham, wherefrom he graduated in 2009. He later started his career in marketing in May 2010, with his first job at Hanson Wade as a Marketing Manager. Subsequently, he worked at WTG Events and Industry Dynamics, before joining MA Exhibitions. Lowth is not much active on social media. However, his Facebook profile picture was recently updated to a poster of Find Sarah Everard, as he kept on consistently posting about her disappearance, with earnest appeals to everyone to help find her.
Sarah Everard and Josh Lowth's relationship
Lowth reportedly resides a few streets ahead of Everard in Brixton. The duo was dating for quite a while and Lowth's family knew her well. "Josh and Sarah have been very happy together and she’s a lovely girl,” one of Josh Lowth's relatives revealed to MailOnline.
On the fateful night of March 3, 2021, Everard was returning home through Clapham Junction around 9 pm. During this time, she was on a call with boyfriend Lowth with whom she talked for about 15 minutes making plans to meet the following day. Her mobile either ran out of battery or was switched off after this as the contact cut off suddenly. It was the last time Lowth or anyone heard from Everard.
On International Women's Day on March 8, 2021, Lowth posted, "Sarah is still missing. Please share this post to help us to find her. Today, more than ever, we miss our strong, beautiful friend," along with the hashtags #internationalwomensday and #FindingSarahEverard.
