Johnny May Cash: Rapper shot DEAD allegedly after video of him beating up a Black girl went viral

Although Johnny's fans are praying for his soul, some social media users are saying his death is 'karma' for beating up a young Black girl without mercy

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Johnny May Cash, the younger brother of the Chicago producer, Young Chop, was reportedly shot and killed on Sunday, April 17, over a viral video of him beating up  a young black girl that surfaced last month.

According to SayCheeseTV, the Chicago rapper died as a result of a gunshot wound to the thigh. In their Instagram as well as Twitter post, the entertainment news blog suggested that his murder may have something to do with the viral video. The April 17 post said, "Chicago rapper, Young Chop's brother, Johnny May Cash, was killed today after being shot in the thigh. Many people believe it's tied to the viral video of him beating a girl last month."

In the said viral video, Johnny was seen violently throwing a young woman against a wall twice while grabbing her by the hair. He allegedly also punched her in the head before she managed to run away barefoot and escape the abuse. The rapper got a lot of heat from the public for his act.

Neither Young Chop nor his family has addressed the report about his brother's death, but fans have expressed their condolences on social media. One tweeted, "Johnny May Cash My Favorite Rapper Outta Chicago R.I.P My Guy." "Bruh Wtf, Long Live Johnny May Cash ! Damn I know Young Chop is Hurting", another tweeted. 

"RIP Johnny May Cash. He had alota visible demons he was facing — maybe his soul can finally be at peace", a fan commented. Another fan also prayed for the departed soul and called him legendary, "Damn RIP Johnny May Cash folks got a legendary hit in Chicago".

But some people are still very upset over how Johnny had brutalized the Black girl and expressed their anger in scathing tweets. One tweeted, "MF do dirty shit then wonder why them. You reap what you sow". Another wrote, "He deserved it after brutally beating up a women". One person brought in karma to the equation and tweeted, "karma is a bitch, well just make sure that bitch is beautiful". Another added, "I just saw the video of Johnny May Cash beating on shorty. Literally putting her head through a wall and It’s hard for me to feel bad for him being killed cuz I got a daughter and sisters."

With no official confirmation of his death, some believed the news was fake. One tweeted, "You believe that?". Another wrote,"“Killed today after being shot in the thigh” is just really not adding up for me".
