Who is Giselle Fetterman? John Fetterman's wife channels her inner Jill Biden at press conference
PITTSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA: John Fetterman's wife Gisele Barretto Fetterman stood up for her husband during a public gathering at Pittsburg. Her move is now being compared to that of First Lady Jill Biden who supported her husband President Joe Biden by pushing away an animal rights activist protesting during Biden's victory speech in Los Angeles.
Fetterman, who is contesting for the Senate election, has been the 34th lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania since 2019. He is the Democratic party's nominee in Pennsylvania's 2022 United States Senate election.

Recently, Fetterman revealed how survived a stroke which was almost a near-death experience, reports The Guardian. On May 13, 2022, he suffered a stroke and underwent pacemaker surgery on May 17. He said, “Like so many others, and so many men, in particular, I avoided going to the doctor, even though I knew I didn’t feel well.” He added. “As a result, I almost died. I want to encourage others not to make the same mistake.”
Fetterman, who is 6 feet, 8 inches, lost significant weight in recent years. He mistakenly believed that weight loss and exercise would be “enough” to replace proper medical care, he said in the statement. “Of course it wasn’t,” he said.
Fetterman also came to the public domain with a letter from his doctor, cardiologist Ramesh Chandra, “If he takes his medications, eats healthy, and exercises, he’ll be fine." Further, the letter added, “If he does what I’ve told him, and I do believe that he is taking his recovery and his health very seriously this time, he should be able to campaign and serve in the US Senate without a problem.”

Meanwhile, the Democratic candidate also spoke to NBC, who insisted his stroke won't have an impact, “I don’t think it’s going to have an impact, I feel like I’m gonna get better and better — every day. And by January, I’m going [to] be, you know, much better. And Dr Oz is still going to be a fraud.”
He also explained his hearing capacity, “I sometimes will hear things in a way that’s not perfectly clear. So I use captioning so I can see what you’re saying on the captioning,” Fetterman said. He then added, "I always thought I was empathetic before the stroke. I now really understand much more the kind of challenges Americans have day in, day out.”

He then claimed, “When our doctor has already given a letter saying that I’m able to serve and to be running. And then I think there’s — you can’t be any more transparent than standing up on a stage with 3,000 people and having a speech without a teleprompter and just being — and putting everything and yourself out there like that. I think that’s as transparent as everyone in Pennsylvania can see.”
According to reports, Gisele and Frettman met in 2007. They began to know each other as she wrote him a letter about the town and the steel industry while he was the mayor of Braddock. The duo tied the knot in 2008 and welcomed three children named Karl, Grace, and August together.
