Joey Bada$$ is calling out Kanye West for his latest behavior by saying he has no "real friends." The "real friends" quip is a reference to West's 2016 track 'Real Friends' which featured Ty Dolla Sign and released as a promotional single from West's seventh studio album, 'The Life of Pablo'. "I think it’s pretty f**king clear that Ye ain’t got no 'real friends,'" he wrote on Twitter.

Joey's tweet came presumably after West's announcement of a presidential run and his recent remarks on Harriet Tubman. The musician started his campaign rally on July 19 at North Charleston's Exquis Event Center, but controversy erupted when he remarked on the famous American abolitionist and political activist. "Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people," he said.

During the rally, West broke down into tears and shared that he and wife Kim Kardashian West had considered an abortion (currently they have four children) and how his own father wanted to have him aborted. "There would have been no Kanye West… because my dad was too busy!" Apart from that, West's emotions were probably also stirred by an upcoming album he is releasing soon titled 'DONDA' which pays tribute to his mother who passed away in 2007.

Now Joey's explanation of West's behavior is that the rapper, who is now engrossed into politics, is alone in his stance and subsequently lonely. Twitter users were mixed in their reactions to Joey's tweet with some saying it is just Kanye being Kanye while others say he may be feeling the weight of running for President. "Maybe he ain’t got no friends, maybe he just do him n don’t give af what anyone else got say. Ain’t that the definition of a real n***a ? Or nah?" said a fan.

Another wrote, "Shit who has real friends in politics? Them n****z are wolves to each other on a daily basis, nobody is safe in politics if you’re not on the same page with their agenda. You’ll get eliminated and replaced real quick. That’s just politics." Other users were saying that West is showing signs of mental turbulence and suggest he needs help. "No one should joke with this... I think he needs help, like seriously," said a user.

One user said, "Then reach him, you got the position to do that. Kanye needs help not for you to sit there and belittle him," in response to Joey's remark. A Kanye West fan said the media is painting an incorrect picture of West. "Just don’t hate him and keep researching and opening your mind what he’s always said is the truth just portrayed wrong by media," the fan wrote.

Meanwhile, Joey Bada$$ has released his latest project 'The Light Pack', which he claims will eliminate mumble rap.
