'Joe Millionaire' Episode 7: Will Whitney Young make an impression on Steven McBee?
Relatively quiet, but making her presence felt one episode at a time was Whitney Young. 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer': Gold coin or not Jennie is next to go home' now has eight ladies left for the duo of Kurt Sowers and Steven McBee to choose from and they grapple with their own problems. For Kurt, it's a self-confessed "walking on eggshells around Carolyn" while Jennie's exit seems to have stung Steven. The focus on the upcoming episode might be on a task between the two hunks, but safe to say, there's a spark between Whitney and Steven — something that showed in the passionate kiss they shared previously.
One of the scenes from the previous episode saw Whitney and Steven's private conversation being intruded on by Jennie and her gold coin. Whitney leaves the situation saying she will talk to him soon. She heads back to the gang and tells them what just happened. "Jennie just used her coin on me" she explains much to the shock of the remaining women. Steven admitted to being shocked as well. "I was enjoying this conversation with Whitney," he said with disappointment.

"About our romantic spark, I don't really know how I feel right now," he opined. What fans would notice is Kurt's reluctance to mingle with other women as Carolyn ensures that she's in the frame. Whitney, certainly no stranger to this, will surely look at Steven and know more about the millionaire. Not only does it put her in the spotlight over the next few episodes, but it also shows how she's played the game and used her moves wisely.
For those unaware, the official 'Joe Millionaire' page on Instagram lists her as hailing from Lake Oswego as her hometown, although it appears that Whitney is settled in Santa Monica. Her Instagram handle, @whitbit101 shows that she's already pals with Katy Johnson and Monica Aksamit who've adored her beauty. The show's Instagram page provided a quick introduction of the contestant and where she was asked what her ideal first date would be. "Ideal first date would either be wine on a beach or maybe some stargazing."
The synopsis of Episode 7 reads: "Kurt and Steven compete in a relay race; the men get to know the ladies better." There might not be much to know from the logline, but the promo does show the two men pitted against each other shirtless and slamming down on melons. Well, guess it's not just the women's hearts they're slicing up.
