'Joe Millionaire': Kurt's mom Colleen says 'love is blind' in a jibe at Carolyn

Although Carolyn couldn't stop gushing about her 'in-laws', Kurt's family didn't feel the same way

When it boils down to serious relationships, your partner's ability to get along with your family is crucial. After all, no one wants to be torn between their spouse and family and have to take sides. And, in case they don't get along, the relationship usually doesn't last very long.

On 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer', the ladies are now set the face quite a vital task -- meet Steven and Kurt's families. With Kurt being first on the list, the ladies met his family, as Kurt previously told his family that he was into Carolyn, Calah, Whitney and Amanda.

Kurt's mother Colleen, his father Eric, his brother Sean and sister in law Libbie were all present to support Kurt and meet the (many) women in his life. Right off the bat, Carolyn went on about how she was going to meet her in-laws and win them over and fans were over it. "Carolyn is giving me crazy stalker vibes. #JoeMillionaire" tweeted a fan. "I cringe every time she says my In Laws #JoeMillionaire" added another. "Not Carolyn cockiness making the conversation awkward. "My in-laws" chile calm down. #JoeMillionaire" added another. "It's… a competition and Carolyn is competing to win the heart of the one she wants most. What's not clicking #JoeMillionaire" tweeted another. "It's so obvious Carolyn is not getting pick in the end with this overly confident edit she is getting. #joemillionaire" observed a fan.

Kurt's family spoke to him about who they think will be an ideal match for him when it came down to it. Eric mentioned that he thinks Whitney was 'not a long timer' for Kurt. Even with Carolyn, Colleen said that she was far too similar to Kurt's ex, reminding him that 'love is blind'. At the same time, Libbie mentioned that 'p*nis is blind', implying that Kurt's attraction to Carolyn was physical above all else. The family certainly seemed to be on Team Amanda and Calah, as they stood out among the crowd and the entire family thought that they were a good match for Kurt on multiple levels

'Joe Millionaire' airs Thursday nights at 8 pm on Fox.
