Is Biden not well? Former VP sounds sick in Delaware speech, Internet says ‘Kamala will run country in 3 months’

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden addressed the nation on the state of the 2020 presidential race. Speaking from the Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware — the same place he accepted the Democratic nomination in August — the 77-year-old acknowledged the historic nature of the election and stressed the fact how more than “150 million people cast their votes” this year.

“Now after a long night of counting, it's clear that we are winning enough states to reach 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. I'm not here to declare that we have won. But I am here to report when the count is finished, we believe we will be the winners.” In his unifying and gratifying speech where vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris joined him, Biden said, “I will do my best to not only protect those who voted for me but those who didn’t vote for me as well.” He added, “After the election, there will be no blue or red states, on the United States.”

Making his stance clear after his opponent Donald Trump's inaccurate victory declaration even as millions of votes were still left to be counted, Biden said, “We are not enemies.” He also added, “Let me be clear: I will campaign as a Democrat but will govern as an American president.”

In a tweet after his speech, he posted, “Power can't be taken or asserted, it flows from the people, and it's their will that determines who will be the President of the United States.” Within minutes, his tweet went on to collect over 9,000 retweets and 56,000 likes.

Within seconds of his speech being telecasted on TV channels, many viewers started posting about how he didn't seem to sound too well. “I mean do you guys hear Joe Biden speak????? He really just doesn’t not sound well,” one Twitter user said and another posted, “Well as I see it how long before Biden steps down And turned it over to K Harries? Was this the plan all along. Biden is not well! Well, we will see!!!!!!!!” A third chimed in, “@JoeBiden is speaking right now. Why does he always look and sound like he just got up from a sick bed?”

While his speech drove much praise from all across the nation, many others criticized him. “Ugh @JoeBiden makes me sick. You see that smirk when he said a long night of counting?? Also, declaring he’s going to win.......hey msm....where’s the outrage?!” one tweet read and another said, “@business How can anyone vote for a senile old man such as Joe Biden. Why? How? I don’t understand it. It is really sick. What is going on?” A third posted, “Your scheduled tweets are getting annoying, how about you write them yourself? Oh, wait you cannot because you are senile! If you voted Biden, Kamala will be running the country in three months. Fact!”

Moreover, many even stressed how the Biden contest was a ruse to get Harris into the seat as the former VP is not well. “If Joe Biden Harris wins this election it’s Fraudulent and the USA will never be the same again will become communist and socialist we will lose every right we ever had to give it one-year censorship is already started & Biden won’t be President it’ll be Harris VP Pelosi 25 amendment,” one said while another posted, “Stop the madness now! No one in their right mind educated female suburbanite or not would ever want Joe Biden or Kamala Harris in charge of theirs or their children's future.” A third wrote, “Assuming Biden wins, he is automatically a lame duck. No one believes he could make it thru 2 terms. No mandate and no power with GOP Senate. No Dem judges and no progressive legislation. Like Trump, only executive orders that will be challenged.”

Earlier, the Biden campaign reacted to Trump's speech, calling it “outrageous and unprecedented”. “The president’s statement tonight about trying to shut down the counting of duly cast ballots was outrageous, unprecedented, and incorrect,” Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon said in an official statement.

“It was outrageous because it is a naked effort to take away the democratic rights of American citizens,” the statement said, adding, “It was unprecedented because never before in our history has a president of the United States sought to strip Americans of their voice in a national election.”
