President Joe Biden has been receiving backlash for not condemning the suspect of the Capitol attack that took place on April 2. In his statement, Biden shared how heartbroken he was for officer William Evans who lost his life, however, there was no mention of the suspect Noah Green, who claimed to be a follower of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

Biden said in his statement, "Jill and I were heartbroken to learn of the violent attack at a security checkpoint on the US Capitol grounds, which killed Officer William Evans of the US Capitol Police, and left a fellow officer fighting for his life. We send our heartfelt condolences to Officer Evans’ family, and everyone grieving his loss. We know what a difficult time this has been for the Capitol, everyone who works there, and those who protect it."

Biden added "I have been receiving ongoing briefings from my Homeland Security Advisor, and will be getting further updates as the investigation proceeds. U.S. President Joe Biden talks to reporters during the first news conference of his presidency in the East Room of the White House on March 25, 2021 in Washington, DC. Green had mentioned on his Facebook that he was “Follower of Farrakhan”. Green rammed his car into two officers, one of whom died and the other was injured. Green exited the car after this and drew a knife when he was shot and killed by law enforcement.

Green also wrote on his page, "However, the path has been thwarted, as Allah has chosen me for other things," and added, "Throughout life, I have set goals, attained them, set higher ones, and then been required to sacrifice those things."

Many are claiming that Biden did not address the individual and how his alleged beliefs could have resulted in influencing his attack. One user on Twitter wrote, "Joe Biden Fails to Condemn Farrakhan Follower Capitol Hill Attack in Statement."

Pro-Trump protesters gather in front of the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6, 2021 in Washington, DC. A pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol, breaking windows and clashing with police officers. Trump supporters gathered in the nation's capital today to protest the ratification of President-elect Joe Biden's Electoral College victory over President Trump in the 2020 election.

Another commented, "Woke Capitol Hill Police Chief did the same. Joe Biden Fails to Condemn Farrakhan Follower Capitol Hill Attack in Statement." Another user tweeted, "Where is the media on the Black Farrakhan follower silent! If he were a WHITE Trump supporter media would be on it 24/7 . Biden the senile PUPPET alludes to it being Trump SUPPORTERS. I truly have to as this question do Democrats want a race war? They are pitting race aga race." Another user, "Well, well. Perp was a Muslim terrorist follower but WH and MSM is mum. If he were a Trump "supporter" it would have been national headlines."

One user also wrote, "Beijing Biden expressed his sorrow over the death of a Capitol Hill police officer after a violent attack at the Capitol but he did not have the integrity to condemn the suspect, who identified himself on social media as a follower of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan?"

On the other hand, users have also been defending Biden and said, "Now you care about a police officer being murdered? Where were you on January 6th as the MAGA terrorists attacked the Capitol killing one and injuring hundreds. PS - Farrakhan is on your side. So MAGA strikes again."
