Who is Frank Biden? Joe Biden's brother says Prez-elect once bit off sister Valarie's stuffed toy Lamb Chop's ear
President-elect Joe Biden is all set to become the next president of the United States of America. The recent presidential campaign of the Democratic candidate was extremely challenging for his family as they were repeatedly attacked by the media and even by President Donald Trump. President-elect Joe Biden’s brother Frank Biden recently opened up about Joe Biden’s support and dedication towards his siblings, while recalling a childhood incident where he got so mad at his sister Valarie that he bit off the ear of her stuffed animal.
Who is Frank Biden?
President-elect Joe Biden’s youngest brother, Frank, lives in Delray Beach and is a senior adviser for the Berman Law Group. Frank stated in the past that his brother, and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, will take oath surrounded by maybe 10 percent of the usual members of Congress, Supreme Court justices, and other dignitaries.
In a candid interview with Scornavacchi, a producer for radio host and anchor Michael Smerconish’s Sirius XM and CNN programs, Frank Biden recalled the time during their childhood when Joe got mad at their sister Valarie that he reportedly bit off the ear of her stuffed animal, Lamb Chop. He said that he does not know if the famous puppet toy from the ‘50s is still available in the market or not, but he does remember when Valarie was 16 years old and how Joe Biden got mad at her. However, he added that no one in their family has ever hit a woman.
“Nobody ever touched Valerie, not even close. The biggest sin for a Biden male would be to touch a woman in any kind of anger. That's the biggest coward in the world,” he says, via the Daily Mail.
There is very little known to the public about the personal and professional life of Frank Biden. During the 42-minute long interview, the acclaimed Florida businessman did talk about his struggles with alcoholism and opened up about being a recovering alcoholic.
'I can't remember – I cannot remember - the last time I took a drink of alcohol in any kind of joyous or social setting sort of way. I cannot remember the last time I took a drink of alcohol and did not immediately descend into hell.”
Frank Biden added that there was a point in his life where he did not wish to live because of his problems with alcohol. However, he got full support from his siblings, including President-elect Joe Biden, who never gave up on him and saved his life.
Hunter Biden's struggle with alcoholism
Frank Biden’s interview shed some light on his and his nephew’s struggles with alcoholism. He says that Joe’s son Hunter is sober for a long time, but things became extremely difficult for the entire Biden family after Beau’s passing. Beau Biden was President-elect Joe Biden’s eldest son who suffered from a brain tumor and died on May 30, 2015, at 46. Frank added that after Beau’s passing, Hunter Biden succumbed to alcoholism again as “this is an insidious disease,” but said that Hunt is sober now and is an inspiration to many people who are still facing issues with drinking.
President-elect Joe Biden’s second son Hunter Biden has spent decades struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. While recalling the time of his alcohol addiction, Hunter has stated in the past that he was in the darkness where he could not find a way out, but the only way to get rid of it was to find a way to deal with the issues and face it.
