Jill Biden's WH Christmas decorations described as 'Fiat' to Melania Trump's 'Lamborghini'
Jill Biden, as is customary for the First Lady every year, unveiled the official White House holiday decorations on November 29 revealing the theme and the decor for which she was the driving force. Titled 'Gifts from the Heart', WH's official website stated, the decor was "Inspired by the small acts of kindness and experiences that lifted our spirits this year and throughout the pandemic." The update further read, "rooms throughout the White House are decorated to reflect the Gifts from the Heart that unite us all" which include "learning, nature, gratitude, service, faith, community, family, friendship, peace, unity, and The Arts." Jill Biden's decor skills were mocked by people on the Internet who said former first lady Melania Trump did it better during her term.
WH's website states there are 41 Christmas trees throughout the official residence and workplace of the US president. Detailing the decor this year, the site read, "Approximately 6,000 feet of ribbon, over 300 candles, and over 10,000 ornaments were used this year to decorate the White House. Over 78,750 holiday lights decorate the trees, garlands, wreaths, and displays in the White House." The update further read, "Twenty-five classic wreaths adorn the north and south facades of the White House," before adding that a team of 100 volunteers work one full week to decorate the WH from the inside and outside.

Jill Biden's holiday decorations slammed as 'Target Level at best'
"As we celebrate our first holiday season in the White House, we are inspired by the Americans we have met across the country, time and again reminding us that our differences are precious and our similarities infinite,” the President and First Lady said in a joint release. “The things we hold sacred unite us and transcend distance, time, and even the constraints of a pandemic: faith, family, and friendship; a love of the arts, learning, and nature; gratitude, service, and community; unity and peace. These are the gifts that tie together the heart strings of our lives. These are the Gifts from the Heart.” The President and First Lady's closing remarks read, "We wish you a happy, healthy, and joyous holiday season. As we look to a new year full of possibility, may gifts from the heart light our path forward."
Pictures of the decor were shared from the WH's official social media handles and it didn't take long for netizens to take the mickey out of Biden who was at the helm of it all. "Worst decos ever. Target level at best," wrote one while another commented, "very elementary" and a third wrote, "epic failure." Another Instagram user wrote, "downgrade" with another quipping, "from Lamborghini to Fiat." To read more about the decor and how each room represents the theme, click here.
