On the series premiere, two teams went up against each other -- the Jex family, which consisted of four sisters, LeeElle, Karilynn, Janae, Deandra and the Bruin Brothers, Brandon, Johnathan, LB, Albert, four friends who attended UCLA and played football together. While the two teams faced off, they did have a little help from the hosts, seeing that both Shepard and Bell also competed alongside them. Bell joined the Bruin Brothers, while Shepherd was on the Jex Family team.

The first challenge was 'Between the Sheets' with Shephard and Bell in a bed, where they each had to wear blindfolds and guess the objects hidden under the sheets while describing them to each other. Meanwhile, the Jex Family and Bruin Brother had to place a bet on how many items their new teammates would get right. The Jex Family guessed 8 items and seeing that their bet was closest to the right answer, which was 9, they won the round, bringing them a step closer to winning the $100,000. The next challenge, 'Brain Freeze', saw the teams face off in a unique game where one member of each time had to sit in a 'freezer' while the others made a list on the given topic.

Then, the player would come back out and try to guess as many items on the list to win the round. However, for every wrong answer, the entire team would get doused in slushy ice. The Jex Family had to list out things in a grocery store. When their teammate was tasked with guessing her team's answers, she got slushed 3 times and only 4 right answers. Up next were the Bruin Brothers, who had to list our things in an office. Although they started off a little rocky and got slushed once, they managed five right answers and won the round, putting them in the lead. The final round, 'Pie Rollers', had Shepherd and Bell play alongside one player from each of their team, where they had to challenge the opposing team to guess a word using only a fixed number of describing words. For each wrong answer, the team member guessing would get pie on the face.

Unfortunately, the Bruin Brothers lucked out with two wrong answers, resulting in the Jex Family making it to the final round. In the last round, the sister played the 'Spin Cycle' with the hope of winning the grand prize of $100,000. In this round, the Jex family would be placed on a rotating podium, as would Shepard and Bell. The team then had to guess the name of objects as Shephard and Bell alternated between describing the words and drawing them. Every right answer would win them $10,000 dollars. With 60 seconds on the clock, the team managed to get 9 answers, winning a grand total of an impressive $90,000!

You can then catch the time-period premiere on Wednesday, August 11 at 9 pm ET/PT.
